However, I see consistency as going by the same set of morals each time, which is what I do. It's what you do too, so we're both consistent. The difference is I come up with my own ideas. You let other people tell you yours.

That, to me, is where the problem lies. We don't really have right or wrong anymore in a lot of instances. It's messing up this country/world. Kinda ironic but case in point, I just got off the phone with a customer. They asked me if I was a minority owned business. I was told that they have to purchase from a minority owned business from no on until the end of the summer. Keep in mind I've dealt with this customer for years. Their pricing is going to go up based on the quotes they got from the other businesses. Who do you think would legislate something like that? Is it right to overpay with taxpayer money based on race?

My point was I will not waiver from my core fundamental beliefs.

That does not mean I can't reach and agreement on a great many issues. But, for example, I believe abortion is fundamentally wrong. I will not compromise that belief except in one instance. The mothers life is in danger.

I respect that wholeheartedly, but you use one extreme example from the fact that the only ways you'll actually agree to anything is:
1: If you're told to by your Republican leaders or
2: If those evil puppy eating lefties agree to all your demands and give up all of theirs.

I agree we need to be conscience about this planet. I don't agree with the tactics of fear mongering, over-reaction, insane taxes and ridiculous regulations.

while both sides can do that, I see it from the left on a great majority of issues. Their answers are tax and spend on most everything. Schools, climate, healthcare, ect ect.

While the Republican method is to tax the people to give "job creating" companies better tax write-offs, which is wealth redistribution no matter how you look at it.

I see two sides in this country, the ones who are pro bettering yourself and minimal intrusion, and one who wants to have you dependent for most everything you need.

It's my job to weed out those that don't stand for them. Is everyone perfect, not a chance. But I believe one side stands for why this country was founded. We escaped a tyrannical gov't only to watch it slide slowly back towards that.

It doesn't matter which side is in charge, left or right, it will not be the America that was founded. America was founded on the principles of equality for all and, while it's taken you this long just to get here on that front, THAT is the ideal. THAT is the goal, and THAT requires you stop talking in terms of right and left and start talking in terms of right and wrong and greatest potential and most risk. Stop with the left wing/right wing trash. That's all it is, trash. And it's all you talk.

On the green energy. I have no problem looking into alternative sources, but not at the sacrifice of today. How much oil is under the US? Why can't we drill it while working on future energy sources?

What future exactly? When you 90? Dead? When? Eventually the future becomes now, and we've been working on electric cars, for example, for a very long time now. We're stepping in to the future you're speaking of right now. This is the period of change, and you apparently don't like it. That means you're inherently against what you say you're for, and why?

My guess is your political leaders tell you to. These are people willing to kill your soldiers for oil. These are the people you consistently parrot. But hey, at least your consistent, right?

I also am a conservative and a republican, but that does not guarantee my vote to be republican.
