this is in my state about a law i voted for
when i voted for this law it was people like your mother and people i have seen die a ugly death from cancer that i thought about
this girl was just at the grand canyon a couple days before she killed herself on vacation,she didnt try doctor treatment,she didnt try operation,she didnt try,

this was straight up suicide not death with dignity that i voted for

Where are you getting your information from that she didn't try treatments or surgery, or that there is a treatment or surgery that would prevent this? Last I heard, neither was an option. She suffered her worst seizure yet after visiting the Grand Canyon. Seizures that she has been told are only going to get more severe and more frequent.

when your down 3 goals with a couple minutes in the 3rd do you leave the rink or pull the goalie?

thats my issue here,i think she drop her stick and left the ice

people have survived this cancer

Classy. Compare a life and death situation to a sporting event. I will ask again. Did she have any treatment options that she simply chose not to pursue?

I'm not even going to debate whether or not anyone has survived this particular cancer. She is not them. It's irrelevant. Her prognosis was death.

more have needlessly suffered worse pain than you or I will ever know
more families have suffered watching their loved ones die

just because it would not be your choice, does not make it a bad choice.

yes,all of our prognosis is death,so nothing to lose,gotta go for it,a very slim chance is still a chance just the way i am

yep, just pointing out, that just because something is wrong for you, does not make it wrong for everyone.

and the side effects of the treatments make you unable to enjoy anytime you may have left, so why not just kill yourself right away?

I am unsure what I would do, I would like to think I would try everything, but without being in that situation it is hard to say.

You know what makes the U.S.special and utterly frustrating at the same time?

This whole notion that every freaking state has it's own rules.

So in Oregon, terminally ill patients can get euthanized but not here in Florida.....cuz, Oregon is special.

Wanna smoke weed, SORRY it's illegal...well not in Colorado...but they're special.

Wanna pay to have sex with a complete (but very attractive) stranger?

SORRY, that's illegal....err...not in Nevada though....but again they're special.

I can go on and on give tons of examples.

Just imagine if our daily life was constructed the way this country is...
