With the minutes that Hedman and McDonagh will give them good luck to those two teams in trying to score against them. I believe they will meet either Winnipeg or Nashville in the final for the Cup.

Looks good on paper but chances are none of those teams will make the final especially Winnipeg.

Remember all those trades Chicago did with an already great roster and everyone handed them the Cup before reality started.
Then they lost in the 1st round.
There's a 90% chance Tampa does NOT win the Cup.

A little surprised the Rangers traded J.T. Miller, but I think we got a good return for him and McDonagh.

The thing you have to take into account is that in the case of the Lightning, they sacrificed the chemistry of the team (especially the first line) to load up on defense. I think that might cause problems and Steve Yzerman may regret the moves he made this year. I think Nashville's defense is better than Tampa Bay's is, even with McDonagh.
It won't matter what the Lightning, Bruins, Predators, or Jets do because the Golden Knights win the cup this year, and John Tavares signs with them when his contract is up.

Tavares goes to the Golden Knights. They're the only team with the cap room and situation that might suit him. I guarantee he will NOT go to Montreal and I just can't see him re-signing in New York. Honestly.
