I'm in 100% agreement, even if I've been playing devil's advocate a little. My point is basically ebay does not have your back, and negative comments buried in a positive feedback could get you in trouble. It's a scumbag move on the "buyer's" part, but there's little recourse, unfortunately.

When a buyer claims he has not received, I like to mention this in the positive feedback. Something like: Buyer didn’t receive, refund made. It’s not negative and other buyers can see if it becomes a habit...

Agreed, it allows to remain politically correct and give the buyer the benefit of the doubt. It's possible that it happens but when it becomes a pattern like that Peacock guy, people should start blocking him
I don't think I have ever "not received" on Ebay and God knows how many times I bought stuff so when it happens a few times a month for a buyer, big RED FLAG.

I've had cards not show up twice. Since 2010. Three times if you count what I had refunded on ebay from 10-4 collector, but that one eventually showed up and I sent him his money back.

So I was curious to follow up on this... Since when I first wrote about this just 1 month ago, some new positive feedbacks :
- Seller beware!!! Check the feedback. Has history of claiming items don’t arrive!
- ****BEWARE*** MULTIPLE LOST IN MAIL CLAIMS NOT POSSIBLE
- Horrible experience , beware eBayer , lost my card and payment !!!!!
- Ai du rembourser car la carte s'est supposément perdue. 15 dossiers avec lui...
- Seller beware!!! Check the feedback. Has history of claiming items don’t arrive!
- Claimed card wasn’t delivered through a Canada Post. Provided Full Refund.
6 more in just 1 month...
Nobody is able to do anything? Ebay sleeping? Hello

Hello,
I am wondering if there is any recourse against an Ebay seller who cancelled my order after I won an auction. I am 99% sure it was because he did not like final price I won it for. So after I paid with PayPal, a few minutes later I got an Ebay message that my order was cancelled? Are there any options? I did get my money back, but that is not the point. It stated the item was damaged or no longer available.

What was the reason for cancelation given in the notice you got? If it's "Out of stock" his account will get hit with a defect. If he lied and said "buyer requested", report him to eBay. Other than that, no. No recourse.

It was noted as out of stock.
