Simmonds cost us the game. I love the guy and everything, but those two penalties he took were absolutely brutal! No way he should see the ice the rest of the playoffs and Spezza should get the call the rest of the way. I thought Simmonds would be ok after shunning away from perry and maroon in game 1, but the two gaffs he took are something even a rookie knows better not do. I have not been frustrated with his play at all and was all for him playing when the rest of the media and city was against it, but he has to go!

Other than that I liked how the Leafs made it a game in the third, but the lightning showed how good they are and vass's save on lilijgren was a game changer. that goes in and it's a brand new game and who knows what happens.

Fan of the NHL or not, the leafs are clearly your team of choice as per above. Your post about Avery also offered an incorrect opinion on Kucherov.....didnt miss anything in either post just trying to help you understand that there is more to the league then your leafs :)

original post was simply a rebuttal of the belief that kucherov is no longer in the elite status in the NHL. follow up was to let him know that i in fact didnt miss anything. sorry to have upset you.

Leafs are in a good spot right now. They look good. Huge game upcoming though.

Another member acting like a troll, instigator or know it all is expected and even part of the fun. On the other hand, if a staff member acts like that, it is a huge turn-off. I am never upset by what other members say but yeah, if the staff is obnoxious, why stay? It's like debating a referee, you are never going to win, so you don't even bother and just go elsewhere.
I'm surprised no one has figured this out yet.
