hey Dan- as often as weve traded and talked, you know that we have similar beliefs on trading- but I have to respectfully disagree with you on this point. I think if a trader has eclipsed the 20 feedback rule, then trading with them should be considered safe. Now, there are exceptions, like traders with MSF tags, but to lump all traders with feedback below a set number as possible scammers seems a bit harsh to me. If a particular trader makes you feel uneasy- dont trade with them, but lumping them all doesnt seem like a fair thing to do, and Im guessing it will hamper your future trading here. Of course, that said, its totally your prerogative, but this is my opinion on the matter

Very true Ed, im not trying to lump them together but i guess that happens. im sure i wont have problems, with my trading i shouldnt :)
but i should proably say i wont do HIGHEND OR BIG BV TRADES with newer users unless they have to send first. then we'd proably agree there. not that i ever have highend. only 6 highend cards ive ever pulled, but it will hopefully happen when i bust some boxes in a few weeksHidden Content

Id generally agree with you on the high end statement- unless it was a trader I had dealt with numerous times. In that case, I think I would be able to judge from the answer to my request whether the trader was legit. If he agreed to send first, I might not make him, but if he seemed nervous about sending first, I would be more cautious- if that makes sense

thats why i didnt buy from the guy this thread was based off of regardless if you have feedback from other sites, he was so passionate on not sending first that it makes me wary if i ever did deal with him again

im sorry, but i dont get how you can call yourself a veteran trader. youve been here not even half a year and this sites been going years, and your not in the top 50 all time traders here.
on topic, if you have 10 feedback here and get 10 transfered from another site, do you still have to send first to people over 20?

i call myself a veteran because i have made OVER 200+ trades!
and yes if you have 10 and 10 transfered you would not have to send first

so if a rookie in baseball this year hits 50 home runs, hes a veteran because hes done enough of something? even if he hits it 3 or 4 months into his pro career?
a veteran is someone who has served in the military, or someone who has been doing something long. a couple months isnt all that long
and thanks for clearing up the transfer feedback thing

guys i think its time for me to chime in here. The rule, as has been stated here before. is that a newbie must send first until he reaches a rating of 20 . In my greetings to new members i remind them that new members are required to send first until they reach that 20 rating. if you have someone new who has a problem with trading first, reimnd them of the rules or pm me & i will remind them. there are stickys in the meet & greet fourm stating the rules concerning newbie trading.
