I truly believe the Packers dont want him back...

It boggles my mind that the GM would tell the best player in franchise history "we'll have to discuss this when I get back from vacation"...I didn't understand why they drafted Rodgers 3 years ago, and I'm really confused why they drafted 2 QB's this year....when they should have been begging Brett for 1 more year

If Favre returns, he's instantly the third best QB in the NFL...and If the Packers want to win a championship this season, Favre gives them the best shot

I'm not at all stunned that Favre wants to return....I didn't believe him when he retired...But I am stunned that the Packers dont really seem to want him back

I don't think the packers want him back,They used 2 draft picks because of his announced retirement. It's time for the pack to give Aaron Rodgers his long awaited shot.If I were Rodgers if Brett came back I would demand a trade enough is enough take care Steve

    in the long run
does what rogers want really count?
does what i want or think about the favre situation matter even one iota?
does what everybody else on here think or want count?

my best guess, and its only a guess, is that what brett wants and thinks matters a whole lot more than what any sports writers say or think. they don't know jimmie.

if brett wants to play, he will play, why waste time going "who said", "rogers said or did this", "the coach said that", "management wants". bottem line, its favres decision.

remember, it was sports writers that said not to expect too much from moss when he went to the patriots. a couple even said he was over the hill. they get paid for that.

it was sports illustrated writers that said when michael jordan got drafted that he would never amount to much.

i think, i want, i wish, i hope, but this, and but that, and $1.00 will get me something from the dollar menu at mcdonalds.

Everyone has an opinion and is allowed to speak it...just as you are now sharing your opinion that others should not post their opinions, therefore are you not guilty of the same?

Not you nor anyone else should discourage people from speaking there opinion here, because we are here to have fun. If you disagree with another persons opinion, state yours, but don't criticize others for having one or tell them it doesn't matter.

And you may say that he won't go anywhere else to play. But you know how competitive he is, and if he decides to come back and the Packers say, "no way, we've moved on" what do you think he's going to do? Go home and sulk? He's going to find a team willing to take him on (and there are a LOT of teams that would) and go play for them.

Crap...I hate it when I'm right:

Favre in another jersey besides the Green and Gold? The only way this works out for me as a fan is if he signs with the Texans. (I can dream, can't I?) :)
