We like the site and we are more than happy to trade with under 20's until we get to 20 and this becomes a non issue. We knew with the Beckett exodus there will be plenty of under 20's here right now that will be happy to work with us .That is why we signed up.

Attempting to close this conversion down. :)
This MSF is our policy and there is no going around it. If you agree to a trade having less than 20 feedback and set it up in the trade manager and another person with 20 or more feedback requests that you send first then you must send first. There is no caveats to trades/sales here. Even if you put "we both agree to send at the same time" in the trade manager it still doesn't matter. I'll say it again so it is crystal clear. It doesn't matter if you are Dr. Jim Beckett or Mike Silvia the owner of SCF, you send first if you don't have 20 feedback and someone with 20 or more feedback requests it.
Everyone on this board followed this rule to include me. We don't discriminate EXCEPT that we transfer feedback.
So, do whatever negotiating and deals you wish on SCF. But if you have less than 20 feedback and someone with more than 20 feedback requests you send first at any time then you must send first or risk an infraction.

Mike if someone agrees to a mutual send and finalizes the transaction and then goes back on it afterwards, then that type of deception would result in us not completing the trade. I would hope you would not be in favor of traders lying in order to finalize a deal. We are up front with anyone who contacts us that we expect timely shipment. In other words we will not finalize a deal and then say " oh by the way we expect timely shipment" If they choose to continue to do business with us then that is their choice.
Nobody is forcing them to do so. As I have said before there are plenty of under 20's who we will be happy to deal with us until this arbitrary number becomes a non issue. Based on the number of inquiries we have received for our items I doubt it will be very long.
That being said it is your site and if you feel that it is better off without us we can take our deals elsewhere. Business is business and you will not hurt my feelings either way.

This is and was to be an informative post for those newcomers to SCF. Not the great debate. As I have stated in my 15 years of trading. Your cards your decision. We just have this rule in place to protect our membership. We want the cream of the crop traders. So lets agree to disagree but know the rule is still there Thanks

Fair enough. It is our intention to be an asset to any community where we transact. Those we deal with will be pleased that they did. My name and reputation mean enough to me that little pieces of cardboard are not going to tarnish it.
Goodnight all. a 140 card order of Tony Gwynn cards just came in from the website and I am going to be up for hours pulling it. UGH

This must send first until twenty feedback is not just implemented on this site....it is used on other sites as well....it is a good rule..... until you are an established member here, regardless of your background. Every member has had to abide by it.
