I would also say, if Obama is the person for "Change", why would you add a 35 year congressman/senator. Isn't Biden part of the same government Obama has been bashing as part of the old sytem?

Biden gives Obama experience. I'm not sure if it will win him any states in the election, but Biden's experience and relationships will be huge for Obama if he's President.

I agree with that assessment, but why not someone with experience OUTSIDE of the government in D.C.? I know people in the private sector with 10 times the experience. The government doesn't hold the monopoly on experience. I'm sorry, but Senators don't have any real experience and why 2008 is the first time you have seen two senators run against each other in a LONG TIME. Can you name the last senator to become president?
So, I say it again. If Obama is the agent for change in Washington D.C. why did he just add a 35 year old veteran of D.C. to his ticket? Why not a person like Colin Powell? I don't mean Colin Powell, but someone like him. Someone that was a general, leader in the private sector and worked in the state department. A non-Washington D.C. man. Wesley Clark comes to mind as well. There are some 30 Democrat governors that have vast experience and are not Washington D.C.
So, explain to me how the "agent of change" is really change when he adds a 35 year veteran of Washington D.C. :)

I'm sure Obama will bring in Powell or Clark in his Cabinet if he's elected. These two do not seem very VP worthy imo.

A hardcore Obama supporter can answer that for you. That, I am not. I just can't stand McCain. Obama I can tolerate, even with his flaws.

wow...that ad is priceless
I bet McCains people were salivating when he picked Biden
I confess, I dont know crap about Biden...this isn't a very good first impression....but as I have said before....both candidates suck
Remember the movie Brewsters Millions? I wish Richard Pryor was running on the ticket "Vote None of the Above"
