I try to avoid redundance. I just don't see how it's offending, disturbing, or otherwise that someone got excited at such a huge event. I certainly wouldn't be smug if I were at Fenway.

Last time I posted anti-McCain threads, you got really defensive about it...you remember. End result wasn't that great!

I won't watch Olbermann because he hates so much. His show only got started by him bashing O'reilly for half his show when he first started out. I thought it was news not Jerry Springer? He know little about world events or politics. Wasn't he an ESPN news anchor?

It's all about marketing and ratings.
You and I both know that MSNBC is a liberal station. And there will be mostly liberal viewers watching the DNC. So how do you get them to watch it on MSNBC as opposed to FOX, CBS, CNN, etc.? Say what people want to hear! Kiss ***! Disagreeing with the consensus opinion of the viewers never got a television station anywhere.
It all comes down to money. Olbermann's views are whatever MSNBC wants them to be. I would put money that he brown noses every Republican during the RNC.

Ash how about some truth to that?
You are saying I got defensive because you posted a McCain thread? That is not truthful at all. Not sure why you are bringing that up anyway. If you want to start a new subject click on "new thread" and post it. No one is stopping you.

And apparently, after looking at your ratings sheet, it didn't work. But I still believe I am right as to the intention of Olbermann and MSNBC.

Want to bet some Card Cash that he doesn't?

Yes, he was an ESPN new anchor. Not sure what that has to do with this discussion. He's longed moved past that role.
Who do you watch Mike? Hannity and Colmes? O'Reilly?

I know how to start a thread...
I'm discussing Olbermann here in this thread though. If I want to start a different discussion, I will.
I should know better than to peak my head into this forum.

Someone will, maybe not necessarily Olbermann. The point is that liberal and conservative stations will always have people who play both sides of the issue because no station will survive being completely biased towards the left or right. Individual commentators are just a prop, I think it's useless to differentiate one from another. They're tools of the media.
