Palin's daughter. She's pregnant at 17? Fine, I'm anti-abortion anyway. This, however, looks horrible on the part of Palin, who preaches abstinence and family ties. Also, McCain selected her knowing this, raising doubts that he vetted her thoroughly enough (as if they weren't already raised enough). It's becoming increasingly clear this pick was aimed at votes moreso than suiting the country's needs. Had he picked Romney, I'd be very humbled right now.

I think you have something there. Palin is the first mother in America where her daughter did something against her beliefs. First daughter to get pregnant at 17 years old. I think we should define Palin by what her daughter did.

Or we can look at John Edwards, the #3 Democratic pick and define the child he had out of wedlock while his wife was dying of cancer. At least he is an adult.

Or let's look at Obama's dad who is responsible for all of the half brother's Obama has in Africa. See story here. Obama may have as many as 8 half brothers/sisters, most by different women.

I think the difference is Obama was raised by this man and overcame the bad guidance. Her daughter was raised by Palin and she obviously has no morals.

In your example one is the being a teacher and the other is the one learning.

i think you actually need to read up on this...the last time he saw his dad he was 10...the last time he saw him before that he was 2...the man was hardly at all in his life

I just think that 17 is to young to be having sex. Apparently the way you think parents should be telling their kids to not go to college and have a unstable living situation before having kids. Not all kids do opposite of what their parents do. Just the ones who are raised by bad parents.
