wow...that's NOT AT ALL what I said!
I'm fine with you having the opinion that 17 is too young for sex...but I disagree!!! Regardless, teenagers are going to have sex...this is a fact of life...there are just too many hormones and too much curiousity! Teaching condom use, birth control or other means of protection is far more realistic than teaching abstinence...let's keep it real here! And please don't twist what I said...that's not cool!

so, let me get this straight. Any teenager who sins was raised by bad parents? Any teenager who makes a bad decision was raised by bad parents? Do you really believe that or only when you want to use it in a political conversation?

Yeah I do. I never did anything bad/illegal as a child because my parents raised me right. I still don't do anything illegal and I serve in our nations military. I do not want my leaders less responsible than myself.

well, we are talking about Sarah Palin's 17 year old daughter....not Sarah Palin...her 17 year old daughter would not be a leader, her mother would be!
and getting pregnant, even at 17, is not BAD, or illegal...it might be a bad choice only because she's young, but pregnancy is not BAD!!! Come on...you can see that right?

wow, if you have never done anything wrong maybe you should start your own religion. if every parent of a child that did something "bad" was a bad parent, then you my friend would have the only good parents in the world.

There's a huge difference between the Vice President and the third to last drop-out for nominee. Also, there's a difference between a man who Obama barely knew versus one who raised these morals into a child. No comparisson whatsoever. Each one of your links is provided by wikipedia. If I wanted to, I can go in there and list Tiger Woods as his half-brother.

It's not the daughter that concerns me, it's the mother's failure to preach her beliefs to her own family.

Randall, I've yet to see you make an intelligent and well thought out response in the political forum. Your comments hold no relevance.

Every single member has missed the point of the topic. Unbelievable. Instead of debating the more difficult issue (the lack of vetting), you simply see this as a personal shot at the daughter. Did my first three sentences not clarify that this was my intent? Randall, I honestly believe you only read "Palin's daughter" before you orchestrated your whimsical remark.
