    Mike....

    Re: beer....

From Time Magazine:"Denver, dubbed the Napa of Beer, is the most tourist-friendly. It has 74 breweries within 100 miles (160 km) of downtown, restaurants that often offer beer-vs.-wine pairings, the yearly Great American Beer Festival and the country's first chief beer officer."

Here's the link to the article - http://www.time.com/time/magazine/ar...729699,00.html

P.S. The Great American Beer Festival is this weekend. I have tickets for Saturday night. Will try to get pics!

Lol. You guys are the more "classy" type of beer, Milwaukee is all Miller and Pabst and such which is why Milwaukee and Wisconsin has more drunks and probably party harder than Denver. C'mon they name their baseball team after them and the Miller High Life guy from the comercials got a standing ovation at todays game when he was showed on the big screen, ha ha

But according to beerhistory.com Milwaukee is the "beer capitol" of the world.

    http://www.beerhistory.com/library/h...ilwaukee.shtml

    But its w/e.

Denver sounds amazing, if I like it, I would have to chose between Denver and SC or NC.

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...................

Miami, FL. Family and work is here but if i could i probably would live in Orlando somewhere where it's quiet lol. Miami is cool to vacation in but sucks to live in. GL finding a job down here. Women are awsome though. I do try to and go to Dolphins, Heat, Marlins and Hurricanes games though so i would miss that. I grew up in Chicago and i miss the snow sometimes as Christmas sucks without it in my opinion lol.

Let me chime in here. I lived in Orlando for two years and these are my thoughts --

    GOOD:
Nice climate, good looking women, mild winters, not a far drive to Daytona, Cocoa, or Tampa, lots to do, lots of cool bars

    BAD:
Humidity/heat in the summer is unbearable, HUGE bugs (roaches, spiders, flying ants, etc), Too many people, too many foreigners/tourists clogging up the highways (it used to take me 1.5 hrs to get to work 20 miles away).

I've always said that Orlando is a nice place to visit, but not to live.

you should've stopped after good looking women ))

I am from the mean streets of White Lake, Michigan LMAO!!!

No, most people from Michigan are the same way of thinking, we all hate Michigan, but we don't plan on leaving. It's great if you are into expierincing all 4 seasons throughout the year, but if you are a big fan of hating the cold, freezing winters like me, Michigan is no place for you!

I dont live there, but I go there on vacation a lot. A great place to live is Highlands, NC. You should check it out!

Highlands is nice...if you're rich. It's a tiny resort town and about half the population live in country clubs and that's their second home (or third...or fourth). I worked at one of the country clubs on the golf course for two years (great town if you like golf...and are rich). From the clubhouse, if you looked up on top of the closest mountain, you saw a huge $2 million house...and that was the guys GUEST HOUSE. As with most of the clubs, it's private and you have to be a member or be a guest of a member to play and each round was $130+ over 4 years ago.

There are no chain restaurants, no fast food, no chain grocery stores or discount stores allowed. That's right, no McDonald's, no Wal-Mart, no Bi-Lo/Food Lion/etc. As far as I know, the only chain establishments in Highlands are gas stations, Ace Hardware, and banks. It's a very uppity, tight nit place...you know how in small towns there are a few rich families that pretty much run everything? Well most of Highlands is rich families so not much gets done that might sully their pristine image.

Anyway, just wanted to chime in on that...it is a beautiful town, but way out of the price range for most people. There are a lot of other pretty, small towns in WNC that are a little more affordable.
