    i'm having a hard time finding the all-star lineups but i found 2002-03 that Yao wasnt in it. Shaq was the only true Center for the west that year

    Ah, wasn't sure. I dont remember any other rookie that started in an All-Star game.

    correct me if i'm wrong but arent rookies not allowed to play in the all-star game? i think even in 03-04 Wade, James, Melo etc werent in it?


    Rookies can be in it. Yao played in the game his rookie year. So did MJ, Duncan, Bird, Shaq, etc, etc.


    As for Iverson, is he even on the ballot? I thought he was on the West ballot, which means he won't start. Could be wrong about that though. And it's two overall guards, not PG and SG - which I don't like.

    Yeah, thats why i was thinking that Yao did play his rookie year. I remember because he had tons of votes from his country
