OK. am i the only one thinking this but Griffin shouldnt go out to the NBA if he has hopes of being in the league for awhile, he isnt developed at all, he will get DESTROYED in the NBA

How? A 6' 10" super athletic big man will rock in the NBA. He is a little bit smaller than dwight howard, but besides that one inch he is a little bit weaker, quicker version of dwight howard who goes strong to the hoop every time and throws down dunks. He will beat every big man in the NBA down the court...

this man isnt even going to be a NBA Center! he's LISTED at 6'10, they were saying during the game last night he's more like 6'8/6'9...
He is like Beasley, and how is Beasley doing this season, i havent heard anything about him

Do you think he cares when he's guaranteed to be the #1 overall pick? Umm... dont think so.
He'll be a WIP but still have a huge impact on whichever team takes him.

its sad i agree with you, if only players played for the love of the game, if he did he'd stay in college because once his contract is up after he signs his first pro deal, he'll likely be long gone...he's nothing special, he reminds me so much of Beasley last year

Beasley? Seriously...Griffin is SO much more athletic than Beasley. And a lot quicker/faster.
I'm really have to question where your "analysis" comes from when you discuss Blake Griffin. I have seen you post numerous times on your negative outlook on Griffin. Im really not sure where it comes from? Really.
He is the most athletic big man College basketball has seen in a long time.. If he was in the NBA right now......there are only two big men, that are comparible when it comes to pure athletisism. (Amare Stoudemire and Dwight Howard.) As a sophmore in College he already has better hands than just about any big in the NBA, and he can put the ball on the floor and handle it. NBA scouts are abesolutely drooling all over themselves, in the intangibles that he already posseses. He posses the things that cannot be developed. And in the NBA, you cannot double/triple team him, and physically beat him down like he has been in College for 2 years. Becasue he is also one of the best passing big men around. So, if you double him up...he's gonna pass to someone open..and they're gonna hit that shot.
You are always entitled to your own opinion, and I will never question that...but, I do question why you have that particular opinion. (Based on what?) I've been watching College Basketball for 25 years now, and I have never seen some of the little things Blake Griffin does so well. Its little things, like how he adjusts his body to avoid charging calls, or how well he passes, or his understanding of blocking out, and rebounding tradjectory. (Dennis Rodman) Or just his understanding of the game. (being a coaches son) Because as it sits right now....the NBA scouts say that this guy is the most "sure fire" NBA star there is. I would have to agree.Last edited by Filthy; 03-30-2009 at 06:05 PM.

actually i rarely post about him, and no way you can compare him to Amare/Dwight he's much smaller than both, i dont think anyone realizes, he isnt 6'10 he is more 6'8-6'9, during the game last night even the analysts were saying he isnt 6'10, he is defintly not close to being able to playing Center in the NBA, he is a 4 at best.. this kid reminds me SOOO much of Beasley, falsifying height, not fully developed...Scouts also thought many players would be good who arent..

Coming from someone that attends every home game, Griffin stands eye to eye with any of the other players from other teams "listed" at 6' 10." Theres not a whole lot of schools that don't fabricate on actual height...but he stood eye to eye with the kid from North Carolina yesterday that is listed at 7' 0" So, there will alwasy be some descrpancy. I think he is a legit 6' 9. As athletic as he is...he will be an Excellent 4, with the ability to play the 5.

i dont see ability to play the 5 in the NBA at 6'9, unless your playing small, and i mean small, he wont be a 5..i give will see, theres a reason he is gonna be #1, this year has a terrible draft class overall
