As opposed to the diverse opinions of the monolith of Fox News? Hardly. Each network operates in the same capacity. Actual news reporting and then the left or right wing bias in the evening.

That's what I was referring to when I said this:
I'm not sure if that's more of a sign of the end of CNN or soceity as a whole....

I left out the word "all" in that post. Should have read "all news outlets such as CNN". That makes the post make more sense.

does anyone want to respond to the facts about CNN or just attack fox news and feel better about yourselves?

I still don't see any facts showing how CNN is finished. As far as attacking Fox News, other than Glebe, no one has really attacked Fox News in this topic.
Do you have anything to contribute to this topic? Or do you just feel like making a worthless post with a snide comment to feel better about yourself?

That's horrible evidence, if you ask me. So, by Mike's logic, any network with lower ratings than FOX News is doomed to fail. Hence, "fact" = Mike's opinion on statistics.
Ensberg... what in God's name are you talking about? Seems that everyone has contributed except (surprise, surprise) you.

They also weren't in a greatly advertised Twitter race either. The problem I have with the whole Nitwit race is that it's just another example of the useless things CNN spends it's time and resources on instead of reporting actual news.
And by the way, I am not nor have I ever defended or applauded Fox News...I have said nothing about them in this thread and rarely in any other thread. I just think CNN is a joke. The only issue I take about Fox News is with people who blast it for being slanted right while not blasting, or just plain not seeing, CNN, MSNBC, Headline News, etc for being slanted left. If you're going to call a network out, be consistent about it. I actually get most of my news from CNN.com, but I have no problem with one right leaning news channel amidst several left leaning.

I know you are not defending Fox News, but to you were calling CNN dead based on a stupid competition against Ashton Kutcher. If you are going to call a news organization dead based on how many people are following them on a social site, then the point about Fox News is completely relevant.
Other than today while watching Larry King, I had never seen CNN mention this race (I had heard them mention their twitter page). I actually heard about it on Yahoo, FoxNews, and MSNBC before hearing about it once on CNN.

Go ask anyone on the streets who isn't brainwashed, start polls on neutral internet sites about CNN or Fox news.
It will obviously be CNN, they are SO much less biased. This is the FIRST time in a long time i've seen this happen on CNN. Fox news does this every night :/
