Derek Morris was on the ice for the Rangers on this play... a friend of mine said it best "Doesn't he get tired of getting twisted like a pretzel in this highlight goals?"

Morris was one of the Dman Nash shiskabobbed through on his way to "The Goal" of last season.

Pavel datsyuk has just as good or better moves than ovechkin. Datsyuk can go into a corner with 5 of the opposition, and still come out with the puck. Zetterberg and franzen are just as good as well. Crosby and malkin are both worse than ovy and the wings top 3.

wow, doesn't sound like you're at all biased with your decision making

and seriously, Franzen shouldn't even be in this discussion with these other players

Ovie and Sid are both supremely talented players. Their styles are very different, though. Ovie' goes all-out and scores highlight reel goals. Sid's game is to be a playmaker. I appreciate both of them.

Ovie can't play defense? I beg to differ, even been proven in this series...

There's two great defensive plays right there.

both of those plays should be penalties...slashing and tripping. Slashing doesnt require contact btw.

eh franzen and ovie play similar styles of games. detroit plays a puck possession team game while everything goes through ovie in washington. when you think about it his claim is not as outlandish as you want to make it sound.
