    Crosby leads the way!

    Well done!

    Fries Up Flyers!

Crosby played one good game the whole series, and it was today.
The pens got very lucky to win this series as the Flyers were the better team 90% of the time. The Pens have a hot goalie, who won the series for them

4 goals and 4 assist in 6 games and you say he has had one good game....wow. That means not one flyer had a good series. Not one had 8 points.

If you've read what people have wrote about the series, its clear to see that they all believe the Flyers were the better team from Game 2 on.

In game 2, Jeff Carter got robbed by Fleury, that would of made it 3-1 in the game, and the Flyers would have been tied 1-1.

In game 3, the Flyers kept it up and controlled the game. They won that game easy.

In game 4, Fleury made 45 saves and was the ONLY reason the Penguins won. If he wasn't so spectacular, the series would have been 3-1 Flyers.

In game 5, the Flyers completely owned the Penguins and won 3-0. The penguins got zero good chances off.

In game 6, the Penguins got moving finally and once they started scoring they kept scoring. Game 6 was the oly game malkin controlled the puck. The other games he wasn't getting his chances.

Getting points doesn't necessarily mean the person was controlling play. If you look at most of Crosbys points in the series they came off of good bounces. The only Flyer who had a good series was Giroux. All of his points came from hard work and excellent plays.

Two of Crosbys goals in the series were really very lucky and one was an open net goal . The first goal of the series, and the one where he crashed into the net. While both were GOOD Goals, they were very lucky and anyone could of scored those. That is what I'm saying. He definitely had his points, but really for most of the series the Flyers controlled him and Malkin. For most of the series, the only good line the penguins had was the Staal, Kenedy, and Cooke line which was phenomenal.

I'm an unbiased Flyers fan, who has congratulated your team. I'm just seeing it how I've saw it and what I read. If it wasn't for Fleury, this series would have been over in 5 games.

Here's a link from Scott Burnside, notorious for hating on the Flyers. Here he talks about the big win in game 5 for the Flyers, but most importantly his quote talks about how the Flyers were the better team for 3 straight games. He's not the only one to bring it up.

"Actually, the Penguins appear to be drifting further and further away from where they want to be, at least where they were through the first two games of the series. Over the past three games, the Flyers have been the better team for long stretches."

So congratulations, you are riding a hot goalie and you will go far. this series could have gone either way, and you are kidding yourself if you don't believe that.

And even yesterday, Crosbys first goal was a gift to him, so please don't tell me just because he had 4 goals he had a powerful series, becasue if you take away his lucky bounces, he was really ineffective.

That was after the fight, Talbot showed guts just dropping the gloves.
It brought momentum to the Penguins even though he "lost" the fight.

I know your coping with the loss and i'm not one to rub it into anyone but please give it a rest. The fact is in a 7 games series the best team for the duration of the series wins. Fleury is part of the team and was great. He stole game 4 and thats it. Thats what a good goalie does come playoff time.

You see game 2 as a spectacular fluery save, i see it as carter (as he did all series) failing to put the puck in a net with his own two hands around his neck.

Bottom line in this series is pens scored when they had to and the Flyers didn't. That was exemplified in games 2 and 6. Game 2, pens down one on the power play in the third and they score the tying goal. Game 6, flyers down one on the power play in the third and they fail to score. Pens win both games.
