Trying to just point out my point of view, while using a few facts! ;)

Sorry if the tone comes off as rude, but its not meant that way. Just stating my case, and explaining why as clean and simple as possible.
Thanks for the reminder, I appreciate it!

Simply put, Malkin did absolutely nothing in game 4, while Crosby had a lucky goal (he flew into the net) and scored. Many Flyers fans say it wasn't a good goal, but I'm saying it WAS a good goal. There is no rule agains it, even though the goalie had no chance. Crosy got lucky and as he slid his body hit the puck in.
So while he got a goal in game 4, he played absolutely terrible, while Malkin looked awful in game 4 as well. Fleury stopped 45 shots and WAS and IS the reason the Penguins are winning the series. Game 2 the Flyers had in the bag, but a Fleury save on Carter kept them in it, then a LUCKY bounce off of Malkins shin pad led to the tying goal. He didn't even know it hit him, anyone could of scored that. You could put my grandmother there and she would have scored.
All I'm saying is, while the Penguins are A BETTER team overall, they are not playing like the better team. They will win this series and I wisht hem best, but they will not go far in the playoffs. The Flyers were playing terrible the last 10 games of the season, but have somehow managed to play better than Pittsburgh in 3 of the 4 games.
I can't even blame it on our goalie as he has done incredible in net, but Fleury has been the reason they have won.
The facts are, you see stats, while we watch the games. I'm happy debating further, but in game 3 and 4 its clear that hte Flyers have Malkin and Crosby limited to chances. There shots are down, they aren't creating much offense. Staal has done a great job against Carter although he was holding his stick in game 2 which led to the power play goal to tie it. Kennedy has been impressive.
I'm maybe the only Flyers fan who will give credit where its due, but simply put the Flyers are minimizing Malkin and Crosby and are the better team. It's just a shame for Flyers fan that Fleury is playing so well, because he's the only reason they are going to win it.

Why? do people say the flyers are shutting them down when malkin is leading the league with playoff goals and points? how is that shutting him down when he is doing better than anyone else? and you want to talk about a team shutting down the other teams stars? what about the pens shutting down the 46 goal scoring jeff carter to one goal. ha

watch the replay...Biron was barely touched by crosby. He was on the opposite side of the crease. Blindness in flyers fans is becoming an epidemic.

very good and true post. No whining from me when the pens lost to detroit last year. Detroit was the better team. Period.

You obviously hate the Flyers, so you are biased.
I never said the Penguins didn't shut down Carter, but HE Hasn't been shut down, FLeury has shut him down. He has had some great chances, and hit a cross bar. The Flyers played terrible going into the playoffs, and Carter lost steam the last 10 games too, so the Penguins haven't really had to shut him down.
WHAT I SAID WAS, the last couple games of the series Malkin and Crosby have been practically invisible. The flyers have been the better team, but Fleury is playing amazing. The series should be 3-1 philadelphia, but Fleury has won the series for Pittsburgh. Hats off to him, and congratulations to the penguins.
The first two games Malkin and Crosby had way too much room and were able to get plays off. The last couple games they haven't really had any chances. Malkin lookied awful in game 4, and crosby Scored a LEGAL goal, but it was still cheap.
But, please don't just parade around hating on the Flyers. I'm giving praise to the Penguins, they worked hard for the lucky bounces. If it wasn't for Fleury they would be going nowhere

Well, I am a Penguins fan and have been watching Fleury since his juniour days here in Sydney (Cape Breton Screaming Eagles) and have to say he is the reason by far as to why the Penguins are on the verge of winning this series....
My biggest "BEEF" is with the fact that the announcers have such a bias for "Crosby" that no matter what Fleury does they still base the Pens success on what "Crosby" does.... Come on he is a great player but really who has been better?? Fleury or Crosby????

THANK YOU! YOu said it!!!
Crosby is amazing, he definitely is. But Fleury has been standing on his head, and the kid deserves a ton of credit. Without Fleury it could be a 3-1 series for Philly. I think that the Penguins have a great shot of going far if Fleury stays hot.
The Flyers have controlled play after getting crushed in Game 1, but Fleury has just had all the answers.
You my friend, made me very happy by saying this!
