this is the dumbest thing I have read today. Sometimes I forget how teenagers make a mountain out of a molehill. Go the the office, tell them the truth, say you are sorry and do not want to lose your lunch hour next year. Most likely nothing will be done to you and your friend and they will let you off with a warning. Its better to tell them now and take blame for it than play childish games. Be a man not a loser. BTW its not like they are going to put you in jail. I cant wait until you start living in the real world. If you cant figuire this one out you need to really learn some life skills.

    I agree with jvansande...

Go up to the office, ask to speak to the principle/VP, be very apologetic and tell he/she you know what you did was wrong, and the reason you didn't come in sooner was you were afraid to get your lunch taken away.

Than tell them you really like having that break in the middle of the day because it "relives stress" and makes your day easier. Than ask if there's anything else you can do as punishment such as dentition or a little community service.

Trust me, this will work ^^^

If you use this strategy, USE THE LINE ABOUT LUNCH RELIVES STRESS! That has to work!

going to court because you left to eat lunch? HAHA

I've been caught with friends a few times, they just warn you and give you an hours detention.. Just be straight and honest with your security guard they are chill, I'm friend with mine and it's a game to get out.

They wont arrest you for eating, just don't be stupid and get in an accident, fight, rob, steal outside of school during school hrs at lunch..

my school is one of the last schools in our area to allow off campus lunch cause we're right in the middle of downtown...there are a lot of problems with students being immature and stealing/loitering at the local shops but they get a huge amount of business at the same time...

Yeah so i pretty much avoided the guard the first couple of days until she saw me from a distance and i ran lol. Then the next week i walked by her in the hall she stopped me and asked my name and if she knew me from something, i acted really cool about it and just told her my name and acted like id never seen her before.

It turns out that the fake name i gave her, turned out to be someones real name in my school lol and they called the kid out of class and he had to prove his being in some teachers class during lunch haha, but yeah the guard probably already felt stupid for pullin some random dude out of class so she let me go pretty easily
