Phew! Glad this didn't go through! I feel that this would have hurt the Celtics.

I wasn't blaming Stuckey, I was just saying with the guys on the team they should have done better. Sheed, AI, and McDyess all are out so that leaves the team with Prince, Rip, and Stuckey as go to guys. That is hardly a big 3 to match anyone elses. Dumars messed it up passing on Melo, Wade, Bosh and company

I agree he messed up with it, but imagine if we keep Billups, Rasheed is easily replaceable and the loss wouldnt be so big..Losing Chauncey is what really set the team back, at the time of getting Darko, our team was really good considering we won it all that year so there was no need for Wade, Melo, Bosh etc. however i fully expect 1-2 superstar players to come to Detroit in 2010
You did say though Stuckey as the PG failed the team, its hard to succeed when you always have a different lineup..especially with AI on your team

I would just hte to see Allen and Rondo leave.
I feel that Rondo is going to be a 20pt/10asst/8rb/3stl kind of guy, and Ray is great in the clutch and amazing at 3's.

Couldn't agree more about Billups. I know they will have tons of money, but so will a lot of teams. After LBJ and Wade it's a crapshoot as to where players end up. Bosh likes Dallas, Nash might follow D'Antoni and LeBron. I think they would be better off going after someone like Boozer or Marion this year

Rip isnt a terrible 3 point shooter himself, Rondo will never average those stats A) while the big 3 are there B) until he gets a good jump shot..
If i were a Boston fan i'd want that deal in a heartbeat

I dont like Boozer or Marion but defintly dont want Marion, he doesnt fit the description of a Pistons player at all...
Detroit is a good place to play though, largest media coverage in the NBA, biggest arena in the NBA...wguke nist if us in the city are effected greatly by the economy, people are still showing up to the games when theres a solid team playing

If you got rid of Mason everyone would want to play there LOL!!!! I think the Pistons need a franchise player though. RIP and Prince are all stars but not the GUY. Style of play and coaching will effect FA's choices as well. What FA in 2010 would you like to get???
