absolutely, just about every case there is no premeditation to drink and drive in order to hit someone. Vick knew exactly what he was doing and thought ahead on how to dispose of the animals after killing them. Have you ever had a buddy that got pulled over for a DUI? Have you ever had a buddy that was arrested for strangling neighborhood pets?

FOR A FORGIVING PERSON, WOULD YOU FORGIVE "JACK THE RIPPER" IF HE SAID HE WAS TRULY SORRY?
FOR THE NAIVE, would anybody really expect vick to say he wan't sorry and really remorseful?
gimme a break, thats what they all say "after" they get caught. and some people believe them.

Philly is like the dog fighting capital of the world. I'm pretty sure 90% of dog owners in Philly have pitbulls. (slight exaggeration...but not much)

08-14-2009, 07:14 PM #461. will the eagle fans take to him?
the majority will
2. will the mcnabb haters approve of him?
what does that have to do with vick?
3. should he be rewarded with millions?
rewarded for what? none of the money is guaranteed, so he's not being "rewarded" he's being givien a chance
4. will he still be a gangbanger? before you all jump on me, does either of the mannings, roethlisberger, rivers, brees, and brady have a posse? nuff said.
all of this stems from cultural upbringing, im pretty sure that none of them had the same type of upbringing as vick
5. do they have dog fighting in philly? i'm sure vick is curious.

for the vick lovers, i do not hate vick, but i sure don't approve of his habits, or rather lack of habits when it comes to studying game film, or the fact that he lied about the dog fighting when it first came out. what is he, ignorant, or just plain stupid?
you know what they say, - YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID!
please enlighten us to what his film studying habits are. i wasnt aware that you were a member of the falcons when he was. how exactly is he stupid? ignorant and stupid are two completely different things. your posts are ignorant, but am i going to call them stupid? no. because there is thought behind them. it all stems to what's accepted where he grew up in

hagansp first, do you really think vick will help the eagles get to the playoffs?
second, it wasn't a racial slur regardless of what you and the 16 year old think. question for you--do you personally believe he is sorry or just mouthing the words as they all do?
smart comment? i don't think so. i was serious. yeah i make mistakes, but nothing in the way that vick and stallworth did. but then, i don't have millions.
thank you, red gone wild. most people aren't aware of that fact.

continuing the Vick discussion
I watched the entire press conference this morning, and yes I believe Vick looked and felt truly remorseful, that he appears humbled and that he handled the press conference about as good as he could.
I did not see the Vick from two years ago that was arrogant & foolish. I think he has learned his lesson, and that he will be on a short leash (great choice of words right?) if he doesn't hold up his end of the bargain.
I'm already looking at this Eagles offense and thinking it has the potential to be really explosive. Andy Reid will most certainly find ways to utilize Vick and the other talent to cause nightmares for defenses.
I can't wait for this season...I'm really pulling for Vick and the Eagles this year!

you can never have enough weapons on the field

his apology is not for me or you to judge...we will wait and see

a sin is a sin is a sin...no ranking system.
