    how do you trade????????

do you go by BV or SV. the reason i ask is that im after as much lebron gu's as possible. but lebron being the leagues premier player everyone goes by BV. a $25 bv card would probably go for $12 or less on ebay.
i feel like im getting raped. say i get 3 lebron gu's, the guy wants 6-7 autos including rc autos brands like sweet shot, chronology, topps chrome. the bv's are almost the same but i just feel funny that i recieve half the cards?

so what do most of you trade for BV or SV?

I trade by whatever makes both people happy. If you feel like you're getting raped(lol) in a trade, then don't do it. But with LeBron, that's how people will trade their cards. They will expect ALOT in return.

    Hot girl btw :)

yeah i know i have the right to except or deny a trade, but its lebron, plus ive been low on cash so trading is my only option right now.

its a tough situation. if he trades using BV and you dont you have to make sure you really want the cards... If you do then its not so bad that hes going by BV and the trade is close to even... If you're getting half the # of cards back in return hes trading down, so it seems like it will be a good deal for you..

Plus Lebron holds value so you shouldnt be too worried about trading for him.

BUT the bottom line is if you feel like youre getting a bad deal dont do it.

I trade by a combiniation of both BV and SV depending on who the player is, like everyone has said, Lebron trades/sells at a premium.

Never even open up a beckett when making a deal. NEVER. Beckett value means absolutely nothing in the real world and should therefore have no effect on anything.

You may feel better purchasing the card or auto. I rarely see a card really worth the BV and rarely do they get it. A card is only worth what the seller wants for it, or what your willing to give up for it. If you give up 6 autos then the lebron is worth 6 autos, keep that in mind if you decide to trade the lebron again. I do not like the term trading down, you should feel at ease with any transaction.

I go by whatever works. I'm flexible when I really want the cards, but not as much if I'm just trading for the sake of trading. I mostly go by BV...made up number or not, its a handy reference that is widely used. SV can be just as made up, I've seen people look on eBay for just the highest or lowest listing on a card depending on which number helps them.

If a card is extremely rare, you pay whatever people are willing to pay. If a card is more common and you dont like the price, pass on it; there will be another.
