I was just a short way from work when I heard about the crash on the radio when it was thought to have been a small commuter plane. By the time I got to work they knew that was incorrect. I remember watching the TV at work and listening to the news come in. Needless to say no one got any work done that day, but they let us leave early. When I got home I was camped in front of the TV watching news until a late bedtime. Probably did that for the rest of the week.

I remember the day very well. My wife was pregent at this time. The day was a little harder on my wife and and me. Not compared to those who have lost their loved ones. I was at work delivering the inter office mail. I was in the van, I was listening to Howard Stern. He comly said a pane had just hit the twin towers. At first I thought he was joking. I went into the building to deliver the mail, I saw everyone around the tv watching the towers. I then called my wife and told her to turn the tv on. We watched the tv for awhile. Several hours later I had to take my wife to the OB doc appointment for the baby. When we got to the OB office we watched the tv, we saw the towers fall. When we got into the room for my wifes doc. appointment we got bad news. We found out that the baby had no heart beat. We found out that the baby was not alive. My wife had to have a dnc, the baby removed. We will never forget this day. I haven't really talked about this to anyone before.

Thank you. We have 2 great kids both daughters right now. one 3yrs, and the other is 7 months. I belive things happen for a reason. Obviously something was wrong with the baby and maybe it was better this way.

Good good, I wanted to ask you if you had other kids now, but didn't want to be blunt in asking...definitely didn't want to intrude on a very personal, touchy subject...but yes, things definitely happen for a reason, and God has a plan for everyone and everything - maybe it was just a sign that you and your wife weren't ready for a child at that time...you'll never know, but at least you have 2 healthy (I assume) children now.

That month was so bad back in 2001, I separated from my then wife on the 4th (2yrs earlier we married on 9.2) then my sisters kid's dog was ran over, then I had to bail the separated wife out of jail, and 3 days later I woke up and flipped on the TV about 5 till 9am... 9.11.01. That whole day was do clear but a blur with everything else around, even called the wife to see if she was alright. Cpl days after that, found out a friend working in tower 2 was killed actually it was on this day well the 13th. Two yrs later the divorce was finalized in late Sept so yea, September.

I remember I was in 1st Grade when it happened. The bus dropped me off at my house and I walked into my house and saw it on our TV and my mom explained what happened. It was a crazy day

I was in second Grade and that's pretty much how that day went down for me.
