See, I never understood that line of thinking. Yes it takes two to tango, but sperm are technically alive, and carry DNA.

I feel what your saying but sometimes accidents happen. Teenagers are far from mature and sometimes even intelligent. Although it is not our responsibility I have no problem paying for someones abortion or healthcare etc, It is only Money. My mother gave birth to me when whe was 16 and at times in my life I would have rather never been born and even felt like a mistake. I dont thin that a child should go throuth this period. Luckily i survived but dont think anyone else should go through what I went through even if it means abortion. Ive been homeless, abandonded etc before I turned 11. Kids in these kind of environments often come to the conclusion that they "Did not ask to be borm" and wished they weren't brn period. I eventually found my niche in society but not every one is built as strong

Every part of the body carries DNA. Sperm is alive, but you cant make a human life with JUST sperm.

Not your responsibility. Not mine either. Why should we pay for it? Why shouldl YOU pay for it? These kids know that there are condoms available, yet refuse to use them. I'm not goin to pay for their irresponsibility(sp). Why should any of us?
Now, if my girlfriend gets pregnant, I wouldnt expect any of you to pay for it. Nor would I want any of you to pay for it. I have to much pride for that. I'm going to take responsibility for it. Pay for my own kid, and above all, raise my own kid. Dont think any of you will ever have to pay for me or my family.

In my neighborhood the cornerstores wouldnt sell us condoms unless we were 18. I dont know if it is an indian/arab cultural thing but they often threatened to call the cops on us for trying to buy condoms unless we showed ID which is ridiculous. I know it is no ones repsonsibility but their own but sometimes repsonsibilty is beyond their rational therefor Im l for the support. Socialistic democracy in the hands of the people and not Politicians/Businesses is the best answer to ensuring everyone has the same opportunities to strive in my oppinion

Well, you could also not have sex. No matter what neighborhood you grew up in. It doesnt matter where you grew up, what religion you are, what political party you or your parents are, or anything like that, you can still not have sex.

Like thats possible in todays world where we are constantly bombarded with sexual persuasion in the music, movies, commercials, sitcoms etc. I remember the first time I had any kind of sexual encounter I was 7 years old with my fatheres roomates neice who was 11.

I agree with you completely But I still dont mind paying. If or when I have a daughter and she makes a boneheaded mistake and wants an abortion i would have no problem paying for the entire thing up front. If a friend/family wants an abortion i would help. Even if a complete stranger wants one I wouldnt mind paying the $0.00000001 even if it was on a daily basis as long as it is truly going towards the cause. I dont want to be paying more for publicly funded abortions, than there is publicly funded abortions if you feel me.
