You do realize Murray's been like that his whole career, and anytime a HOF'er is involved the hysteria is crazy. The fact that he signed at the end surprised me.

Nope, never tried to get Murray's autograph either in-person or TTM before, so I don't know how his signing habit is. But yeah, since Jordan wasn't there, Murray was probably the biggest name there. He shut down everybody who followed him at every hole that he played on. Told everybody that he was going to sign after he finished playing though. I was shocked that he actually kept his words, came back after parking his golf cart, and signed for the crowd that was waiting for him when he was done. I thought he was going to stiff everybody and just take off. Though he acted kind of rude, like that "I'm better than you"-type of deal even when signing, I appreciated his effort in the end, but the event was for charity, and I wish he would of lighten up a little.

Met Detroit Lions' wide receiver, Calvin Johnson, out at a Buffalo Wild Wings sports bar, where he was co-hosting a local sportstalk radio show. Got Calvin to sign a mini-football, that was already signed by former Lions' wide out Mike Furrey, for me.

Detroit Tigers' rookie pitcher, Rick Porcello, was making an appearance for the ABC Warehouse store out in Canton,MI today. He wasn't signing anything other than the 3 1/2 x 6 Sharp/Topps promo cards that the store provided for him, so got Rick to sign one of those for me in silver sharpie.

I'm actually back living in MI now, so I'm going to try to graph as much as I can down here again, considering that I missed out on alot of great graphing opportunities down here when I was living in MN. Though Adrian Peterson is doing a DVD signing this month back up there, so kinda bummed out about that, but can't win them all.Last edited by tboculosis; 10-02-2009 at 11:31 AM.

Detroit Lions' head coach Jim Schwartz, Lions' wide out Calvin Johnson, and the radio voice of the Lions, Dan Miller, were hosting their weekly "Lions Review" sports-talk radio show out at the Buffalo Wild Wings sports bar in Canton,MI today. Got Coach Schwartz to sign an index card for me. Then got Calvin to sign a football and asked him to add the inscription of "Megatron" on it as well.

Did some catching up on your thread. Congrats on RON HARPER. I agree with sigman, that dude is a tough autograph. I've heard some stories about him being a real jerk. Glad you got him on a good day.

Detroit Pistons' point guard, Will Bynum, made an appearance at the Meijer store out in Warren, MI. Got Will to sign a promo 8 1/2 x 11 photo for me and one as a gift to my uncle, who's getting married this weekend and is a huge Pistons fan.
