    im gonna pray for you

That's the only way he will ever be changed. As much as I'd like to think, there are no human words or arguments that will change him. It doesn't matter how right you are. Gatorboy won't believe you.

He must have had a terrible childhood or terrible parents. Maybe a bust relationship depending on how old he is. People aren't naturally like this. They are driven by some event or chain of events in their lives.

    Deuteronomy 13:13-19, that's where.

You have a strong tendency to take these things out of context. If you've read through like you say you have, and you understand the historical context of each and every book, then you would know that you cannot use passages like that to apply to these situations.

And like shapingle, I've already been praying for you.

I've had it with you, goeyj. You've devolved into the "making excuses for god's murders" stage of defending your religion, and I will have no more of it. I will never accept a monstrous doctrine like the Bible or a monstrous dogma like Christianity. Never. I don't care how you can excuse the evil actions of your god, I could never and would never worship a monster like that. Yeah, I know you don't question him, and that's what is wrong with you. You are duty-bound to say that everything that monster does is good, no matter how evil it really is. I want absolutely nothing to do with that. No being so petty, so cruel, so violent, so stupid, and so small deserves to be worshipped, and it seems impossible to me that any such being could have created a single turnip, let alone the universe.

And to shapingle: if somebody doesn't want to be prayed for and you do it anyway, then you are a sadist. You are actively, deliberately and consciously harming me to make yourself feel good.

For sure. I hope my post replying to that comment made enough sense to him. Not that it would matter...

Because I've seen once-decent people warped and stunted and corrupted into mindless killing machines by Christianity. I've seen the transformation occur before my very eyes. And yes, I have read the actual Bible.

who have you really seen turned into a mindless killing machine by christianity? surely if this happened there would be record of it for all of us to see. Anytime someone goes on a killing spree in the name of something it makes the news so please share with us who this mass murderer is please.

and I believe you read the bible. But I also believe you read it the way you read this posts. with a red pen in hand looking for every error from page 1

Now we're getting somewhere! I'm starting to really see your true colors. Your life must have been worse than I thought... I truly am sorry for whatever you will not say on here.
Hmm... evil actions of my God... I guess you are the author of the code of morality. You are the judge of good and evil? I pray for you, as well. That God will have mercy on your soul for the slanderous and blasphemous things that come out of you.
You realize that you have a choice. Because you blatantly choose to defy God, you are making a choice for eternity. You obviously don't understand the magnitude of this. I don't think you would be acting this way if you did.

If you don't believe in God how could someone praying for you "harm" you? You act as if someone's prayers will actually have an impact.

You all can take your cruel, hate-filled, blood-drenched prayers and beat each other over the head with them. Like I don't have enough ill will and death threats directed at me already.

Thanks dude. Check out my avatar too! Got some tickets to the game Saturday! Can't wait!

And you're right, whether something makes sense to him or not, he'll refuse your evidence.

Either way, gatorboymike, whether you accept it or not, I will be praying for you and not responding to anymore of your threads. Arguments which boost your standpoint, in your opinion or not, are all you clearly seek.
