As far as I'm concerned, this is scandalous and outrageous. I would truly like to see where they are coming up with these numbers. I was on the fence when it came to whether or not I would renew my subscription - this has firmly pushed me off that fence. I am done with them and their "guide." Much like the Habs Centennial set, anybody that follows those numbers instead of doing their research and seeing what these cards are actually selling and trading for is being had. Enough. No more of my money for them.

Did they release the NRP, or is this their actual pricing?

Because NRP in the past has been pretty wonky. Sort of like an uncorrected manuscript. Then, when they decide to print it they re-check it and release it for good.

Hey, at least if the BV is down, you can walk into the store and try to argue the price down. Not to mention make some nice trades with people who are relying on the Beckett like the bible.

What I am very curious to see will be whether or not the market continues as-is or radically re-adjusts to conform to the diktat of Beckett, meaning will we be seeing BIN listings on eBay for Tavares YG's at $25-$30?

Why are you guys surprised at this? People get all bent out of shape when they should just go by ebay values anyways. Beckett has been lost when it comes to hockey wince EJ Hradek and Al Muir left the magazine. They could CARE LESS what we think about the values they print. Stop buying their OPG and magazines and maybe something will change!

Just saw it when I look at the set checklist - I did an individual search on the Tavares and saw nothing, but then looked at the checklist and wow. Yannick Weber is apparently a more desirable YG than Matt Duchene.
