Granted there was a lot of hype but Lebron lived up to it. Does anyone have any stats to post? His shooting has improved significantly as you say, and his range is among the best in the league. I think the main area where Lebron could improve is in his ball-handling. I saw a clip yesterday of where R. Felton pickpocketed him (came from behind and the side) and sent the ball the other way for a fast-break bucket.

not only does his ball handling need improvement but his Defense also, he's a pure offensive player, i think once he does improve his Defense and handling skillz i may change my mind but until then it stands
here is his Rookie year stat's
Year Team G GS MPG FG% 3P% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG
03-04 CLE 79 79 39.5 0.417 0.290 0.754 1.3 4.2 5.5 5.9 1.6 0.7 3.46 1.89 20.9
here is another player i will not mention who had better stat's than Lebron but no Hype.
Year G GS MPG FG% 3P% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG
03-04 82 82 36.5 0.426 0.322 0.777 2.2 3.8 6.1 2.8 1.2 0.5 3.01 2.74 21.0Last edited by XxViSiOnxX; 02-21-2010 at 02:50 AM.

You can't say he is a purely offensive player(well you can say it but it's not true). Have you seen any of the incredible chase-down from behind fast-break blocks that he is well-known for? Anyone have a video clip to post?

Anyone can do a blind side block...Look at the Few that Tayshaun Prince did, that Can Not be Considered Defense its a Defensive play theres a difference.

So because you point out one game where Lebron got the most shots and the rest of the team didn't get very many, that proves your point? Of course your going to pick that certain game to make you look smart. What about the games where Hickson had scored 20 points? Or the games where Shaq scored over 20 points? And hey...what about when Mo Williams was healthy and he averaged 16 points a game?
Sorry, but you got to do better than that.

wasn't hard to pick one out just click on any game and he's going to have the most shot's not my fault you take offense to it but like i said its my opinion on it i can care less who dont agree or who does.
and i just clicked on another random game played and only 1 player hit double digit's besides lebron
A. Parker G 27:06 3-4 Shooting 11 Points
M. Williams G 25:45 4-10 Shooting 12 Points
S. O'Neal C 26:54 4-9 Shooting 10 Points
L. James F 35:30 6-14 Shooting 22 Points
J.J. Hickson F 20:04 3-4 Shooting 6 Points
How much more proof would you like before you accept it LOLLast edited by XxViSiOnxX; 02-21-2010 at 03:04 AM.

I see you avoided my questions. What about the games where Hickson scored 20+? What about the games where Shaq scored 20+? What about Mo Williams when he was healthy and averaging his 16 points a game? Your basically calling Lebron a ball-hog, but he averages 8.4 assists a game.
I have my opinion, you have yours. But yours seems to be blinded by this hate you have for Lebron. I'm not a big Lebron fan, I actually can't stand him a lot of the times, especially during the games, but he is by no means a ball-hog.

LOL. Find me one superstar who doesn't take 20+ shots.
Oh, and while your at it, find me another superstar who gets rebounds and assists year in and year out at the same clip as LeBron.
I'll be waiting.
One more thing...if LeBron is averaging 30-7-8 a night while taking 20 shots a night, and Kobe is averaging 28-5-4 a night while taking 22 shots a night, Kobe must be the most overrated player in the game....
I don't care if people hate LeBron, but to call him overrated is a joke. And no one in their right mind will take you seriously with a ridiculous comment like that. How can ANYONE who goes off for 30-7-8 a NIGHT year in and year out be overrated? Fail.Last edited by nadeau01_johnson48; 02-21-2010 at 03:09 AM.

No one has gone off topic....it's about overrated players, and you're calling the player in the NBA who puts up better all-around stats than ANYONE ELSE overrated.
Are people who disagree with you not allowed to call you out? Didn't know we had to live and die by your comments and weren't allowed to speak about them. Dictatorship FTW!
