It is not hard to make a fake selling in ebay between friends and use it as an example for "real value". What it sells for doesn't mean I have to agree on it.
And average of 2 is just small sample size.

Is that happening though? No it's just an excuse to make up.
What it sells for is what it sells for, you dont have to agree, but it sold for as much as it says...
cant make you happy, you say some use the $130 to sell and the $25 to buy, i'd average them, yet that doesnt work either

But aren't recent sales of a card more accurate as a range than what the card sold 6-12 months ago? Also, Beckett's ranges are inaccurate because they only have fixed ranges. i.e.
60.00 to 120.00
or
350.00 to 700.00
So lets say a card has sold $471, $523, $512, and $604. An accurate range would be $471-$604, not one of beckett's fixed ranges, which would probably be $350.00-$700.00.

Of course information is more accurate when it's updated. :)
Beckett is very slow in updating prices, if at all. Feels very lazy to me.
I also do not like the fixed ranges. I do not even need the prices to the ones, just to the 10's would be fine. I'm sure the ranges are fixed in a way that deals with statistics, but again, they're just probably very very lazy. But just because the ranges are fixed, it doesn't mean that they are inaccurate.

It is not an excuse, it is a fact for some sales.
You must be kidding me to average out a sell of $130 and a sell of $25. One is priced a high end, and one is priced in low end.

Fix range also allows them to maintance the price easier in the future. Too many data entries are not good.

when you check ebay and do research to have legit evidence theres shill bidding, or the card has been proven to have a fake patch (or auto) i just throw the values out the window

Chances are with two sales like that one of them is way off. If that was the case I would just wait for another one to pop up.
