Honestly from all accounts I've ever heard Crosby is a class act and just an amazing person! I hate it when I hear people attacking him! Crosby really is the class of the NHL!

this also happened here in cole harbour when he brought the cup home, a kid got a card or jersey stolen from him after Sidney autographed it, but ended up getting a picture in the mail auto by sidney

I don't want to strive away from what he did, he is a class act off the ice, he gels with fans well, great to kids. Just he isn't on the ice, that is all. Just throwing out the facts.

Just a question, how does this give you new respect for Crosby? All he himself did was sign a jersey. It was the organization who got the jersey for him, not Crosby. I think it was a great thing for them to do but how does this turn into a credit to Crosby and how he is a class act? While I'm not a fan of Crosby, I agree that he is a class act off the ice. I just think he is not the most classy on-ice but that's a topic for another day. I'm just curious as to how this is a reflection of Crosby's class that's all.

Classy would've been to sign a gamer and hand-deliver it. I'm not knocking Crosby because he could've said no to even signing it. But if the press wasn't involved would he have even bothered? Probably not. It makes for good press and leaves every one with the warm-and-fuzzies for Crosby.
