Saw this article section....I'll add Ivan Rodriguez and Jorge Posada to my list:

    By: Tim Britton of MLB.com
...Posada is now one of only five catchers to amass 250 home runs, 1,500 hits and 350 doubles over the course of a career. The others? Carlton Fisk, Ivan Rodriguez, Gary Carter and Johnny Bench.
Heady company, indeed, as three already have their busts in Cooperstown, and Rodriguez certainly will, likely as soon as he's eligible. And of course, Posada is the only one of the five to reach all those gaudy numbers while winning five World Series. In fact, the other four only have four titles among them...

Not a Seattle fan nor Ichiro fan,but he should probably be around 2,250+ hits if healthy for the whole year.I think he's got 3-5 more years in him, maybe more if strictly a DH later down the road.150 hits/year for 5 years (after this year)would put him around 3,000. The thing is he's to 2,100+ in only a little over 9 seasons. If he gets to 3,000 in only 15 years, based upon the 150/year for 5 year,he's first ballot. He's only 600+ behind Jeter with far fewer years.Very interesting if you think about it.

An intresting note- Posada also has a higher BA. and SLG. than Carlton Fisk, Gary Carter and Johnny Bench.

    Current/recently retired players:

John Smoltz - Most likely a 1st Ballot
Griffey Jr. - 1st Ballot for sure (Best chance of the only unanimous "yes" vote ever)
Pujols - 1st Ballot if he continues on his current track - though he can get in as is already.
Randy Johnson - 1st Ballot for sure

Ichiro and Pujols are interesting. Both have been in the game since 2001. In that time span Ichiro has edged Pujols in batting average (with more at bats I might add) by .001 and he has the speed factor. But Pujols has the power numbers, more doubles, and substantially more RBIs than Ichiro. Albert is all but guaranteed to get in anyway but certainly If Ichiro gets in then Albert will for sure. But the thing with Ichiro is this...

...I saw someone say if you just take Ichiro's MLB career into account he's a bubble/maybe. Well that's all that should be taken into account. I don't really think it's fair for Japanese baseball stats to affect the voting for HOF. Otherwise guys like Dick K and Kosuke Fukodome would have really inflated HOF numbers already.

Not really sure if anyone else is been HOF worthy lately. Moyer's a maybe. I'd love to see him get in but he's on the low-end of the Maybe vote.

Manny and A-Rod are both deep in the stigma of steroids so that has definitely hurt their chances. (Though if Bonds gets in through the stigma they will too...and in that case if Bonds gets in Pete Rose should too lol).

Frank Thomas and Jim Thome are both 500 HR members so they should be in eventually. Maybe not first ballots but they'll be in.

Mike Piazza is another recently retired guy who's in for sure.

Hate to join the hype but....Steven Strasburg is on par to be the next Nolan Ryan if he continues as he is for another 15 years or so lol. He'll be in if he keeps it up for the next decade.

but rose also corked his bats (not a though it was proven by x-ray i can post an article if interested)

Mosse is considered "retired". He's the only player I have seen from the list. In my opinion, not a first ballot. No Cy Young and WS ring is a tough sell. He has been a consistent good pitcher throughout his years. That's his biggest sell point.

Mussina formally anounced his retirement almost two years ago if I remember correctly. I would say I agree, not a first year ballot.
