How do you think these cards will perform in terms of value? I know it is determined by the demand of collectors, but what are your opinions?

There's so much that's still unknown, so it's hard to say.
Are those autos hard signed, or stickers? That Broduer patch in the picture looks amazing, but I have a feeling it's manufactured - not Game Used.
Parallels, except by player collectors, don't seem to be too popular anymore. I can't see all those mirrors selling for tons of cash.
It is being released at a good time though. I would imagine that Subban & Kadri RCs from this set will sell very well in the early going - they're going to compete against Victory.

It will be the same as for UD cards; outside the rarest items, the rest will go for cheap on eBay (these days the total production of cards is way over demand). UD won't cut his production run, see 2009-10 UD Ultimate Collection (less good cards, but it didn't change anything as UD released tons of boxes out of the factory), so in 2010-11 we will see 2X more products on the market with UD and Panini... plus ITG is always there. All this for the same quantity of collectors. We will see more good deals in 2010-11 with more sellers and less buyers.

More sellers, and less buyers sounds good to me!
Decent design but didn't blow my mind, UD had some better some worse this past year. Needless to say should be an interesting 10-11!
Wait....does this mean Jimmy Howards rookie year with UD is 05-06 and with Panini 10-11 don't get how thats gonna work now?????

I would personnaly pick the best cards from ITG, UD and Panini for my collection. Unless some of you are "vegetarian collectors" sticking to one company, I don't see how someone can pass over all the Pinini cards! Some sounds very interesting.

Not sure if it's been said but something worth mentioning: UD maintained on their Facebook page that they have exclusive signing rights with Howe, so I'm not sure why he's included in the Certified pictures.

Maybe a regular card of Gordie Howe (not auto), same as for Ken Dryden (not auto). Or reprint signature (not hand signed)?Last edited by roy.the.greatest; 07-09-2010 at 07:05 PM.
