Stolen: Patrick Roy Auto Shield 1/1

    http://cgi.ebay.com/PATRICK-ROY-ULTI...item4aa7cd2f3f

I believe the Lundqvist version sold for over double this.

And don't give me the Colorado BS, that's baloney, Patrick Roy is Patrick Roy.

He won just as many Cups in Denver as Montreal, plus set all his records there.

    Steal.

I agree Patrick Roy is Patrick Roy although I have the feeling this auction will be going much higher:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170592563769

We'll see where this goes before I pass judgement.

Although given recent trends, shield cards are worthless (read worth less) now.

    See roy.the.greatest's Items on eBay

It is a great deal due to particular circumstances. So the next time I offer $3000 cash I don't want to hear anybody saying that I'm cheap wih low ball offers! If some people think this kind of card worth only around $1000, they probably don't know the hobby. eBay is not the hobby. eBay is a place to liquidate stuff inside 7 days for a majority of people needing money fast. I decided to not bid online on that card, such as I will not bid on the other one currently on eBay; it is not a hurry for me to buy these 2 cards "right now". I never bought a Roy NHL Shields Auto card on eBay in the past, and see where most cards are located now... Over the next years, I am pretty sure they will all come to the same address (if they are in mint condition like the ones I have). Indirectly, this auction confirms that I am the collector paying the top dollar for the Roy Shields 1/1 cards. The owner of that card can easily make good profit if he wants to sell.
