Matt and I went to Loyola High in Los Angeles together, graduating in 2001. As of today, I have 2 UCLA game used jerseys, one home and one road, and two Eagles game used jerseys, his only 2004 rookie year road white jersey and the home green jersey he wore in 2005 when he ran back a blocked FG 65 yards against the Chargers. (still the only blocked FG return TD in Philly history!)
I am working on a HUGE add that I hope to unveil before the end of the year... its going to take some work though!

He does. I gave one of every card I had of him in 2008 to his parents. At the time, that included some of his super rare ones too! But yeah, he and his parents both know I collect him.

Time to update the thread with the first cards received in 2011! It's the JANUARY update thread...
Another month where the rest of the PC was able to find a bit more love than the Matt Ware Supercollection, but that's not to say that there wasn't a highlight or two in the process. More on that below...
I also want to thank fellow board members jjj5278 and volsguy6 for the FREEBIE'S this month. I hope I am able to find a PC need of yours so I can repay the favor, but please know that your gesture is very much appreciated!
On to the totals...
22 cards added in January 2011. (2,851 total) 12 different cards this month, and my total puts me 149 cards away from 3,000.
18 RC cards added January 2011.
8 serial numbered cards added January 2011. (1,134 total)
5 serial numbered RC cards added January 2011. (716 total)
HIGHLIGHTS:
One major highlight this month... take a look!
This may just look like a rainbow of all the inserts from 2004 Leaf Rookies and Stars Longevity, but NO! All of these are serial numbered 21/xxx, Matt Ware's jersey number with the Philadelphia Eagles! From left to right, thats the Black 21/50, Emerald 21/75, Gold 21/99 (this month's addition, and the final piece to the insert rainbow!), Sapphire 21/150, and Ruby 21/199.
The best part is, I picked up the Gold version for $3 delivered!
MILESTONES:
Nothing really major this month.
I have revised my target date for 3,000 cards to June 2011. That means 5 months to go, and an average of about 30 cards a month, so I am going to have to put some serious work in to find those hidden Matt Ware cards! I already have a few coming in for February, so hopefully this will be another good month.

Agreed, congrats! Some people have the patience for this, some don't! I am not one of them! If it's 8/xxx that's just a bonus for me!
VERY nice looking rainbow though, keep up the good work and hope you are able to accomplish your goal by June!
