If you know me you know that I don't collect photoshoot cards, I bought a LOT of ITG stuff in the past, including many expensive MTOs, but I had to stop because there were is no Shields which are the center of my PC. My collection is 50-50 ITG/UD, and now Panini.
Sorry, the Enshrined product don't worth $100+ per pack on the hobby market. The product is nice but very expensive for what we can pull. Is this bashing? No, it is an observation about the asking price on this product. It is another member reported that you said that other products like ITG Ultimate, The Cup and etc. have fillers without 100% HOFers like Enshrined (see comment of razzamaztaz based on what you said). But yes in term of collectability Enshrined have fillers even if they are HOFers... to say ITG Ultimate have fillers and Enshrined don't have fillers it is untrue. ITG Ultimate is a level over Enshrined in term of valuable collectibles. I know as a business the goal was to promote Enshrined, but as a collector I think ITG Ultimate should stay your flagship product and don't say it contains fillers.Last edited by roy.the.greatest; 05-01-2011 at 08:40 AM. Well, to be fair, that is in the eye of the beholder... to me it also seems itg ultimate is the most fun to break, that is it got most entertainment value. But, some people love HOF stuff, and if you do, Enshrined is the only product with 100% HOF:ers. If you're someone who loves rookies it's the opposite, then you'll see the HOf stuff as fillers instead. It's a matter of taste. I do know though, that it's so much more expensive to buy up gameused materials from HOF players then rookieplayers yet-to-be-stars nobodys, it can't even be compared on the same day. That it don't have the same resale value later on, that's not ITG's fault.

But who really introduced/pronounced the word "filler"... is it Brian or you?

Roy.The.Greatest , you are by far the most stubborn and annoying person on the entire forum...

Does that matter who said the words first? It's all on what taste you have anyway, so I take it back. For some the cup had fillers with all those rookies, for some itg ultimate haas fillers with all the hofers. What I meant with fillers though is cheaper done cards, even if it's real gameused stuff from Hall or Eberle it's very much cheaper to do the cards then from many old Hofers. The resalevalue obviously doesn't reflect that, again, not itg's fault. And it doesn't matter it's itg, a hof:er from upper deck don't sell better. So it's very ungrateful to produce a 100% HOF product, in that regard I take off my hat (if I had one) and bow for ITG. The initital idea is great.

hey hey now lets play nicely everyone
anywho...i think its rather simple...if you think that its too steep of a price for the cards...then just buy the singles...don't open the boxes...people don't care to hear people complaining on here all the time....its really tiring to hear all the time about "Screw UD"...or "Panini are such Idiots" or "Blame ITG for bad looking cut autos"....i understand everyone is entitled to their opinion...but when there are 928374983 other posts that have the EXACT same people bashing it..its rather tiring, and extremely annoying...can't we just focus on good things for once? hasn't anyone heard the expression "I could complain, but who wants to listen"? If the price point is too steep...just don't buy at...and if you REALLY think you are right, you will prove ITG wrong and you will get all the hits you want for less of the price of a box...if you manage to do that, then congrats...make a post on that...its something positive...its so tiring all the people on here are just bashing companies instead of focusing on the positives...and don't even get me started on whoever made that "complaints in the hobby" thread.....Last edited by comfortably9numb; 05-01-2011 at 11:40 AM.

I think the product is as fine as high end come, you can open a box of cup for 400$..which is overpriced it should be around 200$...
Some tins are 100$ worth of cards, stop bashing on a nice product filled with HOF!!!
Its amazing, and you have the chance to pull something amazing!!!

I see name calling. We can do name calling?
People can't play nice?!
Strangely, same people here that were ready to trade the nicest cards from The Cup for a Pro Set card that they never saw in the 1990s.
Wow all this because Enshrined got fillers (a concept introduced by we know who...) and it is overpriced at $100+. Card companies should have a cap on packs of cards! it would protect collectors, and protect them to get topics like this.
See the box break section, you'll understand why I say $30/pack for Enshrined. It is only an observation/opinion.

Yes it is important. If Brian said other products than Enshrined are with fillers (like ITG Ultimate, The Cup, etc.), it is problematic... So did you misinterpreted Brian and the concept of "fillers" is from you, or Brian really said other products are with fillers?
