Following up here yea it's good to let the customer use the bathroom I would think. Hey if they pee on the toilet, let it go by the wayside and look at the bigger picture.
Have mercy on the little one too.

I myself would not go back, because its a unspoken understanding that you take your kid back there and you clean up any mess....its really unfair to make a child wait and half to go around the block, but thats just my view

whats so unfair about it..whats unfair is people thinking because they spend money in my shop that they get extra privilidges(sp) your there to buy sports collectibles and im there to sell them...bottom line life isnt fair my shop my rules dont like it go else where..your theory of taking your money elsewhere only works on people who need the money lol..if i lose money from the store i deduct it from my scrap business taxes and get money whether you spend it or not lol

Hmm maybe the fact its a kid and there bladders aren't as easily controlled and theres a good chance they wouldn't be able to hold it and could let loose on the floor....you can run your store however you want I could care less, but I know the lcs will let my kids use the bathroom if need be, but I also have the understanding that if the mess I will mop the floor or clean it up.....

Agreed, it might not be on the owner but the negative experiences he has had in the past w/ kids or other customers using the restroom.

what ya gotta understands is that it take one bad expirience at a store, they tell friends, they tell relatives they talk about it on "SPORTSCARDFORUM" before ya know it ya lost 15 potential customers and maybe a few regulars might not be returning because of you, start treating each individual customer as a person, get to know them by name, and not a $ symbol. a guaranteed they'll be back again, after all do not forget that customers keep that little potty running! Ive been in a fortune 300 store for the last 12 years, and very skilled in customer service, so take some advice, every customer matters, thats my last comment on the situation

what you need to understand my store is my hobby...i dont make my money from the card store...i make my money in the scrap business. the store is only a tax deduction and honestly my regulars feel the same way i do..im on a friend level with most my regulars playing poker at the local casino with most them almost weekly..they understand where im coming from i showed them. when i let the customers use the bathroom i can tell hundreds of stories but one time employee walked into the bathroom and someone whiped their bu.tt and threw the paper next to the toilet instead of in it. i was flabergasted. any ways going back to the store issue i always bust half the cases myself usually lol...i try to stay away because everytime i go there i bust boxes lol but i do have to say lowballing crackheads on high dollar sportscards never gets old lol

see I'm upset with my store because I saw them buyback boxes from a case that they previuously sold to a customer (SPGU). Needless to say that I was quite upset, in my head the dude pulled something big. I'm not going to that store anymore... as for you story, I think the owner could have made an effort, customer always right !
