I just think the draft was a BIG failure for the cavs they could of drafted some of our needs but all we ended up with was a bunch of PF guys we DONT need at the least we could of drafted some trade bait LOL....Tristian cant shot the ball he has no post game I dont know how they think hes gonna work with the pick and pop the guy cant even hit free throws. Sure hes athletic but how well will he be able to defend depending on where we play him?

I for one loved our first 2 picks. So happy we didn't get a Euro big as I really didn't like Kanter and didn't want to possibly wait a couple years for the other to be available which only would put our rebuilding back another year or so. DWill and Walker would of been only other combo for me although I think Walker is the NBA's next Nate Robinson, which I really don't want. Soooo happy we didn't come close to B Knight as every interview I've seen of him, he seems like a total tool and we had one of those for 7 years, so so happy we didn't land him which I don't think will pan out in NBA neither. Irving is gonna be a beast and a TRUE professional as the kid already knows how to handle hiself and has a sense of humility in him, which I really like

A scoring combo guard from Georgia Tech...pretty solid player. Reminds me of Toney Douglas, though, who the Knicks already have.
Not directed at you, but the ignorance of the Knicks fans at the draft astounded me.

I may consider Super Collecting Diebs, depending on just how many things he has, haha...I already have a signed 8x10 photo of him cutting down the net after winning the Big Ten!

Jawad is going to try and make it back in the NBA...just throwing it out there.
Honestly though, as much as I don't like Gee for taking Jawads spot, I think he deserves one more year with the Cavs. He is a terrific rebounder for his position, and he looked pretty good with Baron. Gee is very athletic and plays with a good amount of energy, and with Barons vision, he was able to find some easy buckets around the basket for Gee. I'm not going to consider him the future at SF, but for the time being, he isn't a terrible option when paired with true PG's like Baron and Kyrie. If we find someone better to start, Gee could at least be a decent player off the bench that brings energy.

I dont understand why so many cavs fans on here are so mad? who else should they have taken? they obviously didn't want to wait for valanciunas... there were no SG or SF or other C that were really there that could have been drafted four. just a guy who can play 3 or 4, jan vesely. id rather have him for the teams sake even though i like thompson as a player more. I dont understand the problem here? draft the best available, they did just that. and the 32nd pick , apparently they just didn't like any of the players there so they made something out of nothing by getting two future picks. and the last guy really doesn't count, he'll never be in the NBA lol.

They drafted, what, three Power Forwards when that was about the only position they had taken care of with Hickson and Jamison...with the fourth pick, they took a clone of JJ Hickson. They could've traded down, traded out, or picked a decent center, but instead they took exactly what they already had. If I were a die-hard Cavs fan, I'd be pretty ticked too. Heck, I'm a casual Cavs fan and I'm ticked off!
