so much hickson hate it seems, i dont get it. he was only the best cavs player for half the season NBD.

Antawn Jamison would like to have a word with you.

there were still some decent guys at 32 other than lighty. i think lighty should have been drafted but lots of people are giving him too much credit (as cavs/bucks fans)

I was hoping for Chandler Parsons. But honestly, I'm completely fine with trading 32nd overall. Orlando more than likely loses Dwight, and we get two higher second round picks that we can use to trade up the next few drafts. If there is no one there Grant loved, I don't see the problem with the trade.

when jamison played good, the cavs played like crap. he was out for 2 months as well with injuries. hickson put up better numbers the second half of the year then jamison did at any time this year. and notice i said half the season (jamison wasn't even there for the last quarter of the season because of the injury and hickson was playing great)

Same with me. lots of cavs fans need to learn that this rebuilding wont be done in one year.

Jamsion averaged 18 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. Hickson averaged 13.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. Jamison is better than Hickson. And when Antawn went down with injury was the same time we got Baron, and Baron was by far the best player the Cavs had all season at any point.

Exactly, why get 9th round talent like lighty and diebs as they might help make a shot or two but helping the team WIN is a whole different story. No one in the second round will help anything in my opinion. Howard leave orlando and the two picks may turn out a lot better for the future. This rebuiling is a couple few years of top talent picks and a few great trades away to being complete which is gonna take more than this years weak draft

And then the best part is once we have proven superstars they will leave like they do on every Cleveland sports team...

LOL the problem is gettting them here to play. NOBODY wants to come here and play and we have to get our talent from the draft. Im not saying that we should of rebuilt in the draft what I am saying is that we could of done better in the draft. We are years away from being a contender and I think Howard is gonna stay in Orlando so second round picks mean nothing in a few yrs when we could of picked up somebody this yr and he would of been working to get better.
