I just wish more people that complaned about UD would boycott them. As I like to say actions are backed up by words but few back them up.

This stunt almost makes me very close to doing so.

Mine is still there (12th Post). The comment is true, they are whining about something they have been doing for years.

And... Now it's gone. Kind of pathetic really.

I haven't busted any Upper Deck products in almost a year, a decision I'm more and more happy with every day.

Hate to say it Kevin but it's gone as is mine. It's laughable how a company like UD can't take even one ounce of criticism from its customers....I guess the CEO had a rough time in middle school haha

I agree with Richard in that i dont want to see them go under because I still feel that they can be an asset to the hobby. But seeing them censoring people as well just makes me even more sure that they wont change unless they have a new owner (highly unlikely) I have done what Don has said i have broken only 1 UD product in the last 4 months and it was a 99-00 retail ud1 that i got for $25. At this point if they dont change soon I think they will go under within the year.

So here's what I want to come out of this: I want Upper Deck to do well and to do good by us collectors. I hope that they do something to turn the corner and get the ship back in order. People are abandoning them because they know UD can do better but seemingly chooses not to. I hope that the NHL and NHLPA have been paying attention in recent months so that when the decision is made to grant licensing for products in 2010-11 and beyond, they put Upper Deck on probation by giving both UD and In The Game a license. I say that it puts them on probation because it's a clear demotion from having exclusivity while at the same time giving their biggest competitor a legitimate and fair chance to show what they've got. UD will at that time either step up or get stepped on. If they want collectors to truly win, give us their best.

I have zero sympathy for UD. McWilliams is a crook, I have no idea how that clown keeps his job with the things he has done. I havent purchased an UD product since the fiasco of the legendary cuts where they saturated the autos with some jockey.

Competition is good, monopolys are bad and make companies stagnat. But Upperdeck is so unbelievable unethical, they have lost the trust of the collecting community, the hobby would be better without them in the picture at all

Hey guys, go check out this article again. After I posted a comment last night saying how immature it was of them to delete our comments, they put all of ours (minus the one where I called them immature for deleting our comments) back up and responded with a comment of their own. Gotta love when they cover their butts.
