Help me finish an All-Time Team......
I have started a new project where I am trying to obtain autos of what I consider to be a NHL All-Time Team. I have most of the players I would consider to be on this team but I am having trouble finishing it. So this is where you come in....Here is what I have so far (keeping in mind that this is just my opinion, nothing else):
G - Marty Brodeur
D - Bobby Orr
D - ?????
RW - Gordie Howe
C - Wayne Gretzky
LW - ??????
Now I understand RW and C have a ton of greats to choose from but Gordie and Wayne are locks for me.
Marty is a lock
Orr is a lock
But a LW and a second D-man are giving me a bit of trouble.
For LW, I am thinking Lucky Luc but Bobby Hull is also a great choice, heck even Frank Mahovolich is also a good option.
For the second D-man, my brain really cramps up.....maybe Bourque, maybe Larry Robinson, maybe Lidstrom, maybe Neidermayer.....I have no idea.
LMK what you all think, I'd really like some help here.

Doug Harvey. End of discussion.
Also, Steve Shutt.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Left Wing - I think it has to be either Bobby Hull, or Lucky Luc. Ovechkin might be there one day..... but has to be one of those two, for now.
The other 'D' is a tough one. I want to tell you Doug Harvey just to infuriate you while you're trying to track down an auto :)
The answer is *PROBABLY* Lidstrom, but I'd nominate any of Bourque, Potvin, or Robinson as alternatives.

At the chance of being yelled at, I would take Ovechkin at LW over Luc or Bobby. Just the skills to go with the way he plays...when all is said and done, he is going to add to the hardware he already has earned...and I am sure a cup or two.
As for D...Probably go with Ray Bourque.

Definitely Ray Bourque for number 2. Not sure about LW but Bobby Hull would get my vote of the people listed so far.

Yeah, I just can go with Ovy right now.....heck of a player but nowhere near an All-Time team at this point.
I am leaning towards Hull for LW as well, but Lucky Luc is no slouch either. Both guys were awesome no doubt....I am more partial to Hull just because I have met him a couple times and he is a great guy....but....
My second D is going to be the toughest choice for me. I never even thought about Harvey, hard to argue that but if chasing an auto of his will give me fits I may just scratch him, lol....Bourque is the front runner for me, but not locked.....Potvin is a good thought too, never had him on the radar.....
