haha obvious joke for now. Once his career ends, he will be though
if you want my serious pick on D, its Raymond "thank god he won his cup" bourque.

Haha, I might agree with the eventual thing for Doughty providing he stays healthy.
Bourque was phenomenal I just don't think there's any comparison with the way that Lidstrom plays on such a consistent basis. Either way it's a tough choice.

Well I think Liddy benefitted from playing on great teams. He's a great dman but I just think Bourque was the better overall but not by much

Potvin or Lidstrom on D. Ovie is IMO a legit choice on the left, but if you wanna wait til he does something big I think you can go Luc. Also I think Bossy on the right is a good choice. I mean I know its Mr. Hockey, but Bossy scored 573 goals in 10 years. I mean think of what he would have done if he hadn't gotten hurt.

Would tend to go with Harvey and Bobby Hull, but if you want to make it more interesting, you could replace Harvey with Eddie Shore.

lol @ Andy....I'll add Doughty in about 10-15 years as I am sure he'll end up as an All-Time great!
To the Bossy suggestion, I think he is awesome....one of the more underrated players of his time, 573 goals in 10 years in just sick, would have loved to see him play another 10 to see where he would have ended up on the all time goal list.....but I just can't bump Howe for Bossy...lol, even though it would save me a bunch of cash getting an auto of him over Howe.
Having thought about this for a few days now I am definitley leaning towards Bourque as my second Dman......The two Bruins on the back end will look great together....
Harvey, Shore (another player I didn't think of), Lidstrom, Potvin, Coffee are all great choices but I liked Bourque a lot growing up so that is what helped me decide on Bourque....
Still not sure about LW though. Pretty sure I am going with Robitaille though...highest scoring LW in history and he has a ring, kind of hard to wrong. Plus I don't have a Luc auto and I have a couple Hull's, which is cool cause I want to chase the whole team...I have no autos of any of the players listed.....lots of fun (and $$) for me in the next little bit, lol.....
I did manage to get my hands on a Marty Brodeur auto yesterday, so my little project is under way....hopefully by weeks end I'll also have one of either Gretz, Howe or Orr to add to this.....Can't wait to get them in, I'll post them up as they come in.....

For D I would say Ray Bourque or Paul Coffey are the best after Orr. As for LW, I think it's a toss up between Hull and Robitaille.

I've heard from more than one old-timer, who actually saw Doug Harvey play, that he was actually the best ever. Better than Orr, better than Gretzky. You can take that for what it's worth - but I think he's an absolute lock to be on any "all time" list.
