Oh yeah, almost forgot. Couldn't you have left negative feedback? It's not fair that sellers can give buyers negative feedback for not paying. Should be the same the other way around too.

I agree with most of these posts here, personally i think the seller is responsible. when you list somethin on ebay, before you hit the confirm button it tells you hey you are entering a binding contract, if this card sells, you must sell it... thats that! Yeah he found a way around it, but its not right... The rules of ebay, say he was suppose to sell it... had he caught the error before someone bid, thats a different story...

There is no negative feeback for buyers.
They can file a non-payer complaint with eBay, and leave no feedback. Negative for buyers no longer exists though.

That's incorrect. Buyers are the only party that can leave negative feedback. Sellers may not.

Why wouldn't this guy ship to NEW YORK STATE as he wrote largely in red.
That on top of him not honoring a sale speaks volumes about the type of guy he is.
Reminds me of a dealer from Buffalo area at the National in Cleveland that had about 5 boxes of cards marked by price (One box was $2, one $4, etc.) on his table. Since it was the only hockey around, my wife and I spent an hour or so going through rows and rows of cards, pulling out ones were interested in and then narrowing down or selections. We go to hand him cards to buy and he says, Oh that one is not $4 it's 10 and this one is $7 and basically took any good card we found and said it was in the wrong box just because he didn't want to honor his sale. So this seller ranks right there in they SUCK!

Well, in the end, the guy offered to compensate me (by sending me a card).
I think that was very honourable of him, so I told him I appreciated the offer but told him it wasn't necessary. Just offering me was good enough.
See, there are stand-up sellers out there.
