wow...it was an obvious mistake. just move on. there's no need to ding a seller with a negative just because you can.

Story takes another twist.
After I said thanks, but no thanks to his offer of compensation and bid him a good day, I acknowledged via eBay that the item was closed as a non sale.
Today I get home from and find a package in the mail from the seller. He sent the card for free with a nice note saying it truly was a listing mistake.
Now I feel I need to return the favour. He didnt need to do this. It shows there are very nice people out there and that it's better to act diplomatically (even on the Net).
Regards,
Craig

Yes, and it looks like UD made that mistake with ALL of the Cole/Staal triple auto's. I have no idea why UD keeps loosing their licenses :-p

It's not that I am never wrong but I gotta say, in this case I am damn HAPPY to be wrong. It obviously showed nothing about their character at all. His actions to you post auction show what kind of person he/she is and I am sure you will do right by them as well. Great ending. It's not always like this so this is great to read!

I have to say Craig, you have been a very helpful trader to me, and your actions in this case of yours just amplifies the what comes around goes around stigma.
If everyone uses this example of reacting with the intent to fix a problem, then a good solution will prevail. We all get what we ask for, and Craig here asked for a positive outcome.Searching for: Jagr, Palffy, Stumpel, and Boyd
