I disagree with all of you... To buy a high end box and pull a guy who wont make it to the bigs and Holiday is ridiculous. And then to have someone send a pack of Topps series 1 is vinegar in the wound.

Abaladejo was 10-1 in the Yankees pen last yr and won a ring. I think that's the big leagues, but I may be mistaken.

Well buddy welcome to the world. I think you need to understand that not every box has something good. I've gotten slammed plenty of times on boxes. I opened a box of 2010 finest (2 mini boxes), and not only did I pull 4 autos of guys I never heard of, none of them were refractors, and I didn't pull a single base refractor. Did I call Topps? No.
I opened a Tin of 07 Sweet Spot classics. I got a Will Clark GU and another Non-Hofer. The Auto? A redemption of Willie Horton (not a HOFER). And it was expired. So for $70 I ended up with two $1 GU cards. Did I complain? No. I called UD, asked if they could do anything, and when they said no, I went on my way.
You need to suck it up. If every $200 box of cards yielded $400 dollars in cards, don't you think there'd be a problem? I mean come on man. You're a dad I'd guess, and whining about not getting good cards is NOT a good example for your kids...

ya i would be embarrased if i was you, i mean hey it sucks you forked out the money and pulled a not so great box, but to complain about on the internet....sigh....
i wonder if i went to my nearest casino if they would be so kind as to give me the money back i lost....if not, they probably would comp my room.

It's the sense of entitlement the younger generation has come to learn. :(

No sense of entitlement, the op just got skunked on an upper level product that shouldn't even have the players he pulled in it.Yes he could have done a better job examining the checklist and made a more informed purchase, and yes as a collector myself I know every box can't be a winner, but with that being said any other collector on here would've been upset with that box.As far as Topps doing anything that was never gonna happen as he pulled the amount of hits specified and wasn't shorted anything, best of luck next time op.

Upset yes, but i do believe there is the sense of entitlement in this situation where the op believes because he didnt get great hits, that he deserves compensation..Holliday is no slouch, is it an amazing GU pull? no, but its above average and /9 and not every Auto can be made..

The Players in it should be, its a $150 box on average, if it was only filled with great players, then you should be buying Topps Sterling which is a much more expensive product

That's why I very and I mean very rarely buy high end,it's just too much of a risk and most cards I would want out of a product I can get for cheaper prices on ebay.

Agreed, i'd much rather get nothing for $50 than for $150

I agree with all the people you don't. I have a worse story. I have bought more than 15 boxes of cards to break and never got anything good. The one time I got something potentially good I redeemed it and on June 27, 2010 I will have been waiting 1 year for my redemption to even be acknowledged by the company. You dropped the money and you lost. Happens to me and others all of the time. At least you apparently have enough income to regularly purchase these types of boxes. No reason to complain.

i think he was thinking aceves as well but albadejo was on the yanks last year. he went 5-1 with a 5.24 era in 32 games.
