Kind of disappointed in the draft. I was expecting some trades of big name players.

Chicago has 5 picks in the second round. Either going to get some decent players or have good trade bait.

Rights to Hamhuis dealt from PHI to PIT for a third-rounder in 2011. Guess the Flyers couldn't get a deal done...good move for the Pens, though, especially if they've resigned themselves to the fact that Gonchar isn't going to settle for a 1- or 2-year deal.

Turns out to be Ryan Parent for a third-rounder in 2011...seems like Philly didn't make out so well in that regard.

Seriously, Ballard and Oreskovich for Bernier, Grabner, and a 25th over all pick. What is in the water on the Canucks table?

I thought it was an okay trade. It was a little tough losing the 1st round draft pick. But who knows. That prospect might turn out to be a guy like Patrick White. Overall Im happy that the Canucks got some depth on defence.

I was a little disappointed to see Ottawa trade away the 16th pick, guess there wasn't anyone they liked left. Oh well

Any second round predictions? How about "the Kabanov pick"?

I'm hoping the Oilers take the other 6-2 righty center named Tyler, Tyler Pitlick, at 31.

LA trades up and gets another bid defenceman (Derek Forbort)

I have to read up on this guy but my first thought was Project D-man - Like Brian Boyle....So far he is 2-3 years away from even thinking NHL....

I was there - Actually a little disappointed - Not much happening there....except the loud BOOs whenever Anaheim was mentioned....hehe....

I thought Florida did well with their 3 picks.....Anaheim (^&*@#$) did pretty good too...
Not too thrilled on the LA pick...seems like a Project
I did get to meet Johanson after the Draft - Nice Kid...
