I'm liking Burke's moves in the later rounds here. The recent trade for Mike Brown gives us a pretty effective fourth liner who has speed, fights, hits, and can kill penalties. A nice option to play the wing opposite of Orr. Basically a more useful version of Jay Rosehill (although Rosey can play D...but we're loaded up back there, so that's a fairly useless thing now). Shove Hanson in the middle and you've got a nice fourth line of Brown - Hanson - Orr.
I like the move to get into the second round to grab Brad Ross. He's a potentially top nine guy. Big, physical, and has some decent scoring touch. More potentially useful than Jimmy Hayes IMO, who we gave to get him.
The pick for Olden is going to be a steal, I think. We moved up two places ahead of Detroit to get him. 22 points in 5 games in the Norweigen U-18, has size, and could really be one of those later round gems.
Burke actually picked some Euros this year. Nice to see our European scouts being used, they've gotten us some pretty good players in the later rounds of past drafts.

I'm very very happy with how the draft turned out. We got Tyler Seguin, but it will spell the end of Marc Savard in a Bruins Jersey. Even Bob Mackenzie said it last night... They're looking to ship Savard to a new home and go with Bergeron\Krejci\Seguin as their top three.
