Steve Nash should be MVP. Look at what happened to Phoenix when he was hurt. I think they lost 5 games in a row! Miami without Shaq didn't even lose three games in a row...maybe not even two. Dwayne Wade is capable of anchoring that team. Heck he's had a couple of buzzer beaters himself this season. Steve Nash runs that Phoenix machine and without him their a car without tires.

Shaq is MVP
Any team that Shaq plays for automatically becomes the best halfcourt offense team in the NBA, in my opinion. Which will make them a formidable presence in the playoffs. I feel that Miami has a better chance to make the NBA finals then the Suns do. I'm not sure that the Suns could beat San Antonio in a seven game playoff if Tim Duncan is healthy; while Miami's only roadblock to the Finals appears to be Detroit.

i would agree with iverson but look at how his team is doing... i understand it is not completely his fault they cant get any players in philly but they are 6-8th in the playoff race in the eastern conference...... if they were 4th or better then i would say he has a chance...
shaq is the most dominant player on both ends of the floor in the NBA.... you say nash does it all. how is his defense? When is the last time you saw him alter any shot put up within 5 feet of the basket? the MVP is the most valuable player... not the offensie player of the year.. which would actually go to iverson before nash got it

I agree that The Answer is a great, great player-not many guards ever win the Mvp(accept Michael), and Allen has already won it once. Certain players, like Iverson and Jayson Kidd, can't be measured purely in statistics. Although Kidd is a walking triple double; people get down on him because of his shooting percentage; same with Iverson. Both players do so many other things well-like stealing the ball and wrecking havoc on the opposition-and they are just great basketball players.

As much as I'd like to see Nash get it (I live in Victoria, BC - Nash's hometown) I think Shaq will get it... Either way I'll be happy, Shaq is my favorite player and if Nash wins, I'll be able to sell his cards here in town :P

Miami has been awful the last two games without Shaq. I didn't think they could keep winning without him like they were.

I noticed in the standings that the Clippers won more than the Lakers this season...too funny. Maybe Kobe really should have gone there instead.
