Got In A Wreck Today!!! Ugh....

ok, so today i got in my first serious wreck driving my 2006 Scion XB that i paid cash for in one day and OWN... i was stopped behind a car who was turning left and a big dodge truck hit me HARD... i turned me wheel fast because i seen that truck behind me wasnt slowing down.. luckily i didnt hit the car in front of me.. but the truck DID! so she hit both me and the car in front of me.. i hit my head on the steering wheel pretty hard!

My damn airbag didnt even come out!!
a few ppl have told me to sue toyota! lol * can someone tell me, should i try??...*

Police report has the truck at being faulted so that lady is going to be paying big time!!!
My XB Will be in the shop for a while i'd say.
Anyways, the back of my car is pretty ruined....

yea man it really does suck!! i love this car

and in all seriousness, do you think i'd be able to sue them?? my airbag didnt come out and i got hit REALLY hard

I don't know how well of a case you would have against toyota, seeing it was a dodge truck! LOL

Sucks man, I remember when i totaled my Jeep hitting a deer scariest seconds of my life, my airbags also did not deploy.lol

In some vehicles air bags will only deploy from front or side impact- since you got hit from behind, they probably weren't triggered. Now, if you HAD hit the person in front of you.....

Sorry to hear. That sucks!

I got in one semi-serious accident a few years back when some guy decided to dart out into a busy intersection during a HEAVY RAIN of all times. After slamming my brake to avoid crashing into his car, my car of course fishtailed in the rain and eventually slammed into a pole. My car ended up pretty mangled, but not beyond repair, and I escaped with just two minor bruises from the impact.
