My View On The Kobe Situation

Okay, let me first warn you that you might be offended from what I am going to say... especially women. That's not my aim... it's to try and shed some light on the subject the way I see it and sadly enough I am well educated through experience on this subject.

I've been quiet about Kobe up untill now. I wanted to believe he was innocent, but hell you really don't know if he is or not. Lately though, 2 key things about the case have been revealed leading me to really have no question that Kobe is innocent.

1)The woman took a day before she went to the police. Now sure I'm not saying that it wasn't rape just because she waited a day, but as you'll see from what I say in the future you'll see how this plays in.

2)She recently overdosed on pills 2 months ago.

Okay, now using those pieces of information, I can come up with 5 possible outcomes. Like I said before, sadly I am well educated in this. I have female friends who have been raped, have falsely accused guys of rape, and boys who were accused of rape. Here are the 5 situations that are possible :

1)She was raped

If it is true Kobe should be persecuted to the fullest amount allowed by law but I think this is HIGHLY unlikely.

2)She willingly had sex with Kobe because she got "played".

Kobe promised her the world and in the end he just gave her a stiff one and some bubble gum. She then brings up these rape charges as a payback on her getting "used". I would like to believe that no woman is really that crazy but a woman scorned can be a VERY ugly thing. Add with that some mental issues this chick has (see overdose) and her day wait to think of her course of revenge... and you have the rape charge brought up.

3-5 all follow the same premise... She willingly had sex with Kobe to get attention she was craving and when she told people...

3)People didn't believe that she had sex with Kobe.

What better of a way to prove the people who didn't believe her than filing rape charges against Kobe. Now everyone would know Kobe hit it and it's the truth. This would explain her waiting a day because it took a little while for her to tell people and get reactions.

4)People didn't care that she had sex with Kobe

She tried using sex with Kobe as an attention grabber and when the people she told didn't care, she had to flip the script into attention somehow... which the rape charges did. This would also explain the day delay before going to the police.

5)People called her a ™™™™™ for having sex with Kobe.

She went around bragging about having sex with Kobe and what's the natural reaction from people when a woman flants her sex? They call her a ™™™™™. This was then a shot on an unstable girl and she now wanted it to stop. If she files rape charges, she's no longer the ™™™™™ that people have been calling her... she's now a victum.

So I am officially on the Kobe is NOT guilty bandwagon and I can be confident in my decision.

I agree with you on this one. Items 2-5 is what I've been thinking happend the whole time. I don't even like Kobe, but I don't feel that he deserves this either. This girl is nothing but an attention hungry gold digger. I'm sorry, Kobe has everything in the world in front of him and can have any woman he wants. He doesn't need to rape anybody and I know he's not that stupid.

When you have $100M in the bank and then some, there are MANY MANY MANY places you can go to get the kind of women you want (young, old, pregnant) and they will do whatever you want....for a price.

When you have more money than most people can imagine in their lifetimes, you have access to ANYTHING you want, and in a very private manner.

Why risk it all in a public place like a hotel?

With $100M+, you can do ANYTHING, and I mean, ANYTHING, if you are willing to pay for it to get what you want.

Kobe just lost many millions in endorsements from future advertisers b/c of this situation. His reputation is tarnished. He will still continue to make many millions, as his contract runs out next season; and the Lakers will pay him $110-130M for a 7-yr contract, or thereabouts.

No matter whether or not Kobe is guilty, he's a farking idiot.

it's as simple as that.

Wealth affords you anonymity in doing ANYTHING you want. Why put yourself in that situation in a public setting?

I have to agree on this.

People say that Kobe isn't stupid enough to have raped this girl but HE WAS AT LEAST STUPID ENOUGH TO HAVE SEX WITH HER.

Kobe knows he is famous and FIRST THE GUY IS MARRIED. Second he should have seen this coming that if you go sleeping around with random women who run up to you that you will at least find 1 that will cause you trouble.

Now I'm not going to put the blame on anybody but if Kobe was smart he would have said No to the woman and had gone home to his wife instead.

i dissagree with one thing about the girl waiting a day to tell. most women are embarrassed to talk about it! i herd from somewhere only about 10 in 50 women will report it and its almost NEVER they report it right after.

either way kobe is screwed cuz there goes his basketball carier i lost respect for the guy and many people probably have to

Sure, that's one way to look at it... but since she's obviously a little cracked since she overdosed 2 months prior, I take the wait as "planning her next move" and not because she was embarrassed.

to me, all that matters is the case is quickly resolved, and Kobe can concentrate on helping Laker challenge Bulls 73-9 all time best record this upcoming year!!
